Chiropractic Adjustments
So what’s the bottom line: Loss of movement in a joint leads to significant degeneration (arthritis) and this may happen well before symptoms occur. Timely restoration of this movement by chiropractic adjustments and regular exercise will prevent, halt and may reverse these degenerative changes.
Subluxation
“Similarly, according to chiropractic theory and practice, vertebral subluxation [the area of the spine or other joint which is stuck and needs to be adjusted] may have a significant impact on health before the appearance of pain or other signs and symptoms. For example, loss of movement or stiffness in a spinal joint may lead to associated degenerative changes [osteoarthritis] – changes that can be prevented or even reversed if there is timely treatment to restore movement in the joint, but that may be irreversible before warning signs of pain appear.”

Myofascial Therapy
Many conditions and injuries can be addressed by exercise therapy in conjunction with massage and myofascial release. Dr. Willing can provide non-surgical, drug-free treatment of joint pains and stiffness in the hip, shoulder, wrist, elbow, ankle and knee.
Chiropractic Injury Treatment
We’re here to help. Dr. Willing has special expertise in treating automobile and work injuries. We are currently accepting new clients and are able to bill auto insurance and worker’s compensation. Oregon law requires motor vehicle insurance companies to provide Personal Injury Protection (PIP) coverage on all policies. This coverage pays for your related treatments for up to two years after the accident or until your PIP benefits are exhausted regardless of who was at fault. Insurance will usually pay the entire cost of treatment with or without a referral from other medical providers.
Acupuncture
Dr. Willing received his Doctorate of Chiropractic and a certificate in Acupuncture from National Health Sciences University in Chicago in 1986. He previously graduated from the University of Oregon with a BS in Biology and Psychology and a minor in Biochemistry
