To give you a heads up, I've read most of Andrew Weil's books, including Eight Weeks to Optimum Health and Christiane Northrup's Women's Bodies, Women's Health. My first choice for medical intervention: Alternative, such as, acupuncture. And while I liked my previous OB/GYN who is very good, I never felt connected with her. Then here I was facing perimenopause. I asked my acupunturist "where do you go?" She recommended Two For Women. I walked through their door a few days later and I was hooked. Finally, true [Western Medicine] health care ~partners~. Kolleen Squires is my gynecologist; Annette Sellon, my family practitioner. I love walking into the front office, then being invited into Kolleen's office for a chat [or Annette's, depending on the focus of my appointment] to discuss what's been going on since my last visit. The exam is bookended by another conversation in her office, like the concluding paragraph of an essay. It feels olde fashioned and fresh & new at the same time. Annette referred me to a cardiologist for a heart murmur, which turned out to be benign. I appreciate their contacts with respected members of the medical community. I appreciate their open communication. I appreciate their knowledge. I appreciate their warmth. I am thrilled to find a practice which is ideal for me.
