Dental Examination
Following an initial comprehensive exam, we will explain your dental evaluation and plan for treatment. Any immediate needs, as well as long-term objectives will be discussed at this time. We will also be able to address any changes you would like to make regarding your dental health.
Oral Cancer Screening
During your first appointment, you can expect a comprehensive exam that includes an oral cancer screening, a periodontal exam for detection of gum disease, a visual and x-ray exam for decay and tooth deterioration (structural cracking or wear), and a cosmetic smile evaluation. Using the information obtained in the exam, we will accurately assess your dental needs and prepare a written treatment plan that will be given to you during a follow-up appointment.

Root Canal Treatment
Dr. Bahnson attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine where he completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He went on to pursue advanced training through a General Practice Residency (GPR). Dr. Bahnson was one of eight residents selected for the 2015-2016 general practice residency at the University of Colorado, where he received advanced training in Oral Surgery, Implants, Prosthodontics, Endodontics and Sedation. After a successful first year Dr. Bahnson was asked to serve as the Chief Resident the following year while he continued training. Dr. Bahnson is a member of the Wyoming and American Dental Associations.
