When I bought a new vehicle, the dealer referred this business when I asked about window tinting.



I went on their website, emailed them an inquiry. Got email response from Michelle.



Went to business a week later, met owner Mr. Funk who was nice and helpful. He told me 1-2 days lead for tint on my car. Went to the website again and looked at shades & info.



Came in 2 weeks later to make appt., was told 1 week out by very nice Cashier Michelle. I told her the owner had said 1-2 days, and she kindly offered to fit me in on Wed. April 9th if I left the car all day. I ck. their website again to read about prep before tinting.



Windows were tinted (so far job looks good.)



Fast fwd. 5 days. I hear an ad on CAR radio saying 15% discount at US Tint, just go to website. I'm thinking to myself that I never have seen a coupon at any time I had been on their site.



Drive to business, tell Michelle I just heard ad, she says I have to talk to one of the owners, and that the ad was being pulled today after being on for awhile.



After a few minutes owner Mr. Funk came out not looking happy, and asked me what he could do for me. I told him about the ad I had just heard, and that I felt I should have been given this savings. He told me NO, that the whole radio spot was designed to measure response, that I had to go to website and print coupon. I said I never saw coupon, and that I should have been given this discount. Again he says NO.



So I told him I would convey my poor costly experience on Angies list, Yelp, and to the car dealership. He became red and angry and told me not to threaten him. I told him I am not threatening, that his customer relationship skills are bad, and I would be letting the public know of my experience.



I come home and look at website. On bottom right is a small window saying enter email for future savings coupons. They have had my email for a month, and I never got any coupon. I entered it again, and my husbands, and neither of us received any coupon. This is deceptive business practices, and shameful. We are talking about $50 savings, so it is a big deal. I have been on that website probably 10 times over the last month, never got anything but an email response from Michelle.

Lots of competition in this Valley folks. Mr. Funks attitude seems to be that the auto dealers keep him so busy, small potato Mom & Pop jobs don't matter to him. I owned my own business for 17yrs., then worked in retail management for 10 yrs.I can't imagine talking to a customer the way he did. His attitude is really poor to customers AFTER THE FACT...for Shame!



Go elsewhere folks....why reward bad behavior when you have so many other good options?
