Delicious!

Fantastic maki! Generous portions of the most important item, the FISH! Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food and service are fantastic.

Takashi: BEST SUSHI!

I wasn't expecting Takashi to be as good as it was. My boyfriend and I have been trying to find a good sushi bar for a year now, and this is our regular place now. The sushi is fantastic, with affordable prices. The entrees are also amazing, and the cooks know how to get an order ready and delicious in a timely manner. Every member of the staff are extremely nice and polite, and they make you feel like family. We now go to Takashi every time we head into Fresno. I would HIGHLY recommend trying Takashi!

DELISH! Awesome friendly customer service!

Work around the corner & this has been my new lunch spot! I have been to nearly all shushi places in Fresno, some have wonderful locations, or prettier looks, but this place takes top! What sits in front of you on a plate will explain it all. The staff is SO friendly- talk on a personal level with you, caring for your every need of your meal experience. The rolls are HUGE! If you are worried about getting skimped on portion- this place will not let you down. They put more fish vs. rice which is wonderful. Everything tastes so fresh. They are open to you designing your own roll, or will really help you decide what goes good together. Definitely worth a try for newbies! You won't be disappointed.

My new favorite place to eat.

Up until a week ago, I had never eaten sushi (and truthfully never wanted to) until a friend took me to Takashi. What a great place. Not only was it amazing to watch the way they prepare these gorgeous works of art (sushi rolls), the combination of flavors and textures was heavenly. I also highly recommend the Hawaiian Poki (fresh Tuna, sliced thin and served with the most amazing Sesame Vinaigrette sauce). The variety of menu choices is truly amazing. So......for those of you who have been too afraid to try sushi (and even those veteran sushi eaters).....you gotta try Takashi.

Sano is gone - Takashi is here!.....Fantastic sushi!!!!!

Sano was an excellent sushi chef but unforntately he didn't stick around long enough for the his latest location to prosper. Oh well. I went there to meet a friend expecting Sano's to be there but in it's place was Takashi. So I stepped inside and there was a familiar face behind the sushi counter. His name is Ty and he was a sushi chef at Zipangu and an excellent one at that. So we sat down and gave it a shot. It was more than we had expected. Awesome sushi, nice portions, impresive selection. My immediate faves were the Angel Eyes (marinated scallops with other goodies wraped in slices of tuna) and Susan-San (spicy tuna wraped in salmon slices). They even have some hard to find items like ono, monkfish liver, spanish makerel, and mirugai on weekends. We finished off with our personal dessert which is uni. When it's really fresh, the flavor makes me close my eyes and drift away to happyland. Oooohh it did. If you miss Sano, that's nice but try Takashi. It will impress you. Even if you're not familiar with Sano, go there anyway. It's nice to take a sushi tour of your surrounding area.
