Pet ER

I have had a few situations where I needed a vet in the middle of the night for my dog or cat and Pet ER is always there for me. I love how compassionate everyone is, even at 2AM. Thank you!

My sweet dog had been sick and declining for a couple of months when it was suggested she have an ultrasound, so I took her here to see Dr Dobbins. Because of emergencies, I did wait 3 hours and that was stressful but after that it went quickly. The ultrasound showed bad news and I knew my sweet girl was tired and had given up. I decided (against their estimated treatments of $1,400) for euthanasia. Dr Dobbins was professional, very supportive and very kind. He did not try to upsell me or get more money out of me. He went out of his way to tell me agreed with me. The vet tech was very sweet, sympathetic and professional. She administered the drugs gently, professionally, kindly, and my sweet girl went with a little sigh.

I've been here in the past and was treated rudely and unprofessionally but for this visit - one of the hardest visits ever - my pet and I were treated very well and very kindly.

This is the only place that I will trust when I have an emergency with my dogs. They are always available to help me and they really care about the animals. Thank you!

I have a diabetic pug who frequently goes to the e.r for his Suizures if sugars are not elavated.
I panicked after 5 back to back Suizures I called this place and they said 60$ for the charge of visiting ok fine what ever we get there and the staff was PUSHY! they gave us a 1500-2500 bill of what they WERE gonna do, after I refused they stated that " obviously you have money issues, an he needs to be treated " the tone and the way it came off, made me completely unglued and I told them to drop it to 1000, take it or leave it
they were STILL trying to get 1500 from me! I finally had enough an said to give me back my dog. During my wait for them to bring my dog, I looked up the reviews an i then realized we had made a mistake. This place only cares about the $, they were pushy an very aggressive with their statements as well as opinions as to " I don't know how to take care of my dog" or if he didn't get treated there he was gonna die.
I knew it was his sugars. They wanted to do 100 of tests and keep him over night an just too much more then what they needed to do! They had his banbanage so tight his paw had no color to it.
I will never recommend going there for anyone.
If you like to be judged, pushed, and go broke by all means go there but I would linger elsewhere for sure!

Kelly Weaver D.V.M willl highly encourage a pet owner to leave your pet overnight-- MORE MONEY, MORE MONEY, MORE MONEY because she has a high overhead to pay. She will tell you that something horrific has happened to your pet and that you need to make bail for your companion for an additional $2000.00 or more. I question anyone's intelligence who has had a positive experience at Pet Er On BLUFF in Fresno. Were You in the treatment room when your pet was being examined or did a staff member escort your pet to the exam room? Do you have any medical knowledge? Were you there to observe the operation? Did your four legged pet have a change in behavior after he or she was treated by Dr. Kelly (WITCHDOCTOR) Weaver D.V.M. Did the vet technician misinform you about how to administer the prescribed medications? You're better off taking your four legged companion to be treated by Joe the plumber! Google most likely has so many characters that we can use to WARN paying customers to think twice about taking your pet to be seen at Pet ER on BLUFF. Being new to the Fresno area, When I asked another pet ER hospital who referred me to Pet ER on Bluff because their vet was in surgery, I asked the technician they were the "Best." I was informed several times that they were the "Closest." I found out the hard way what the closest meant when their was a change of plans during the operation and my cat's Boo-boo on his claw needed to be amputated and was given a Fair to Poor prognosis.

Took a hour to be cheaked in..took two more to even get in a room got a vet that didn't want any opinion or input from the dogs owner. Turned out I was right and my dogs leg was fractured. She refused Splint. Disscharged us and told me to see a different vet. I'm now her at a different vet telling me my dog sould have had a splint. My dog need surgery. And it took a total of 6 hour there a 30 min drive home just to have to turn around and have a different vet do what was needed to get her prepared for her surgery. No help at all

if zero stars wus available that's what I would have gave them. I brought in my puppy whit a fracture leg. it took 6 hour to be seen. they just gave us pain pills and no split they said she didn't need one and she wouldn't give her one. bunch of morons! will not be going back

I waited over a hour to be cheaked in at the front desk. Waited two hours in the waiting room the another two hour for a cray result. Came back my dog had broken her leg. Sent me home with no info no splint. Nothing but pay us 500 bucks to see someone else. Stay away on a Sunday....

Pet ER is excellent, they always take excellent care of my dogs and I know that I can trust them completely with my furry family members!

you were a great help to us in our emergency with Lola in giving birth I don’t know what I could have done without you, I was really nervous! Thank you for the help, support and peace in mind that I can trust you.

Everyone that worked there was extremely helpful and friendly, which was helpful in taking the edge off since we were worried sick about pups. Having his vet records transferred over from his previous pet was smooth and quick, which is 100x better than getting my OWN medical records handled by people doctors haha.

The Pet ER has helped me on numerous occasions when my dogs have gotten sick in the night and I know that I can always count on them!

I am very happy with the service I have received from here. They know my dog and he knows them! Great visits every time!

I had a major emergency with my two cats and took them to Pet ER. I had been out of town and the pet sitter did not come to check on them as she has said she would. They were left unattended and I was so scared. I immediately took them to Pet ER and they helped right away and were great. They were able to get my cats health back to where it needed to be and really helped ease my concerns as well! Thank you!

The thing that puts Pet ER above and beyond is their great service and loving staff and doctor. The experiences we have had there will make us continue to do business with Pet ER! We love them!!

I will not go anywhere else! My two cats are old with deteriorating health, so I have worked with every vet and vet tech and staff, and I know when someone new comes in. They treat me like a friend and make me at ease when things are chaotic!

Emergencies happen when you are a pet owner and that is why I am happy to have the Pet ER for my animals. I have needed to use them a few times and every single time they have been kind and understanding towards the situation and my pets. Thank you so much for all of your excellent care!
