The Workers Compensation system in California is complex and often confusing, and recent regulatory changes have further complicated the process. At the Law Offices of Robert A. Craig, III, we use our previous experience representing insurance carriers and employers to move our client cases quickly and efficiently through the system. We understand how insurance companies evaluate and defend workers' compensation claims, and we use that knowledge to obtain necessary medical treatment and benefits for our clients as quickly as possible in order to allow them to return to work and better support their families. If you have sustained a work related injury and would like assistance in resolving your case so that you can return to work, please call or email our office to schedule a free consultation. Attorney fees are regulated by the State and typically range from 12% to 15% of the total settlement or Award. We do not take any fee unless we obtain benefits on your behalf. We offer Labor Relations.
In California, a motorist who is arrested for drunk driving faces not only a criminal prosecution but also the administrative per se suspension of his driving privilege. The latter process is handled through the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). The license suspension proceeding is civil in nature, and the rules of evidence apply.

California prisoners who are convicted of such crimes as murder, torture, or kidnapping may receive indeterminate sentences with the possibility of spending the rest of their lives in prison. However, after serving a portion of their sentence, such prisoners are entitled to parole consideration hearings before the Board of Parole Hearings (BPH). If the BPH decides that a prisoner is suitable for parole, the Governor may modify or reverse the finding.
