The food is great and I'll continue to patronize Runza. I have a concern. I ate at Runza on Friday (12:30 p.m.). I had a bill of $3.51. I gave $10 to the cashier and in her haste and mine I didn't get any change. My number was #321. I live out of town and it wasn't feasible to drive back (gas) and address the issue. If you ran over on your cash register you now know why. Please slow down when there is a long line. I realize that mistakes are going to be made and I take partial ownership with this problem. I was also in a hurry. Al

A midwest cult favorite, Runza is very popular in the state of Nebraska. This fast food place's signature menu option is the runza, a sort of oblong bread roll filled with grilled hamburger and onions. They have a bunch of different kinds of runzas, from just cheese, to more complicated barbeque and other options, all with the hamburger and onion filling. They also have burgers and other fast food fare, with really good soups, too.

General Info
Runza RestaurantsServing real food requires a real commitment. It all begins bright and early each morning. Instead of serving breakfast, we're making homemade bread dough from scratch. We're hand-slicing onions. We're shredding lettuce for our salads. We're stirring up homemade chili and fresh ground beef filling for Runza® Sandwiches. It's a labor-intensive process that doesn't let up until long after closing time. We know there are easier ways to do all this, but our commitment to doing things the right way is as real as our food, and that's not something we're going to change.
