Dr. Barry Elbaum graduated from New York University College of Dentistry and completed his four year Oral Surgery Specialty Training Program at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
Jaw Surgery

Tooth Extractions
Dr. Bland is a Northern New Jersey native but has been living in Monmouth county for the past 9 years with her family. After receiving her Dental degree at UMDNJ, Dr. Bland spent one year at Jersey Shore University Medical Center as a general practice resident. She then completed a four year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Temple University Hospital. It was here that she gained knowledge and experience in wisdom tooth extraction, facial trauma, and implants among other maxillofacial issues. She also spent four months in North Carolina at Mission Hospital where she participated in rotations in plastic surgery and ENT.
Bone Grafting
To qualify for a successful dental restoration, you need to have adequate bone in your jaw, providing a stable place to anchor the implants. If you lack sufficient bone material, you may still qualify for implants following a procedure known as bone grafting. With a bone graft, our board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeons will regenerate the bone where you need it most, providing you with a suitable foundation for long-lasting dental restoration.

Braces
You will be placed under full anesthesia for your procedure, ensuring you are comfortable throughout the surgery. Your surgeon may cut or reposition your jawbone to provide healthy alignment. Following your surgery, you will complete your care with an orthodontist, wearing braces for a few weeks or months to bring your teeth into their proper position.
