Frederick Allergy and Asthma Center

I have never had an issue at Frederick Allergy, if I have a question I always get an answer, either from the staff or directly from the doctor if the staff doesn t know. I never have to wait to long and my allergy shots have definitely improved my quality of life

I have been going to Frederick Allergy for a few years now, in the past year or so they have changed a few staff members and added a couple more and I must say the staff they have now is wonderful, everyone seems happy including the doctor ( you could tell she was having a tough time for a little while) they are all very helpful and seem like they take pride in what they do.



as a bonus, every once in a while you get to see the occasional idiot get asked to leave for making a big fuss about not being able to break the rules and get "special treatment"



I hate when businesses make "exceptions" for people, SHOW UP ON TIME AND FOLLOW THE RULES LIKE EVEYONE ELSE!

I think Dr. Hunter and her staff are the best in Frederick! The nurses are friendly, the doctor knows what she is talking about, and her treatments work better than any other treatment I've ever had and I've been seeing allergists for 20+ years. I'm usually in and out in 10-15 mins. with no hassle. I have recommended Dr. Hunter to everyone I know

When I started with Dr. Hunter I was seeing her twice a week for shots, after a couple of months, I was down to once a week, then once a month, hopefully I'll be done with shots AND MY ALLERGIES before the end of summer!!! I didn't believe it at first either but Dr. hunter told me when I started that if I do EXACTLY what she tells me to and I'm very diligent about my allergy treatment ( don't miss shots, irrigate my nose, etc.) it was possible to get off shots and not need meds either. It wasn't easy but neither was the thought of missing every bbq for the rest of my life.

Dr. Hunter is a brilliant doctor. If you want a quick fix, she is not for you. She tests everything, no guesswork. Be sure to take notes because she doesn't say things twice and if you don't follow doctors orders be ready for a lecture. I have been with Dr Hunter for about a year and I only need one shot a month now. The only time I take an antihistamine is the day I get my shot, other than that I'm good for the whole month. If you have been wandering in the wilderness of incompetent doctors and allergy shots that don't work Dr. Hunter is like an oasis in the Saharra. I highly recommend Frederick Allergy and Asthma Center.

Dr. Hunter is by far one of the most thorough allergist's I've met. I've had 3 different allergists, and she is by far the most effective. She is very strict and specific but if you follow her advice and do what she says, you will be enjoying the great outdoors allergy free!!!. Her employees are great too!!! I get shots every week and they are so quick and efficient. I never wait in the waiting area for more than a few min, and they always remember me.

Doctor hunter is really nice. She cares and tries to think of the best way to treat your condition. I have very bad allergies and anxiety, she tried to help me find ways to treat my allergies with minimum medication use. She called me back after hours during an emergency. She is very knowledgable and will help you understand anything you ask about. Having said that, she is very high strung! She talks a lot, quickly, and may seem to be interrupting you but she is just trying to get ideas out of her head while they are still there. You have to be proactive in care with her, don't just go and expect a miracle cure. She probably isn't the best doctor for people who want to be coddled or have an expectation that a doctor should be robotic. Idk where all this hate came from but they are dead wrong. My guess is they were probably difficult patients, or took her the wrong way.
