The buying experience and delivery was great but watch out for the warranty. We purchased the 5 year premium protection plan so we would have no surprises. The furniture is now about 8 months old and one of the chairs makes grinding noises and jerks as it moves. No problem, we have a premium protection plan so called them the first week of December! WRONG! For the 1st year you only have the La-z-boy warranty which is 12 months but only covers a service call for the 1st 6 months, then there is a $89 service call fee until the premium plan begins. So, we thought we would wait until it was one year old and then get it serviced under the 5 year premium protection plan which covers even the service call except they told us they would not fix this issue. Why? Because they only will fix it if it is broken meaning it can jerk and make all the noise it wants but still works so is not broken. It has to completely stop working before they will cover the operation! So we have a hole in the coverage from 6 months to 12 months, then rather than a premium protection plan we have less than a basic pan. The kicker, we told them we would pay the fee and to come out and fix the chair and were told they are over 4 weeks behind and would not be able to come out until after the first of the year!
