Precision Surveys

This is a licensed Surveyor in Nassau County, which won't standby it's previously provided surveys as valid points of reference. I hired this company to provide me a survey of my property to validate the location of some items on my property ($600). After that survey was completed it was evident that I needed to make some adjustments to a fence and a shed on my property. I used the survey provided by Precision Survey, which measures distances down to the 1/100th of a foot, as a reference guide to move a fence off of existing structure on my property. After making the necessary movements on my property of a fence and a shed (with what should have been at least 6" to spare) I called them back (another $450) to survey my property again to validate that the items had been moved. I received the survey and much to my displeasure the survey indicates that the fence is now .41' off of my property line. The surveyor that I spoke to on the phone to discuss how this could happen if the items were moved in front of a item which was indicated as being on my property on the previous survey was unable to explain himself and could only tell me that I should have hired him to stakeout the property (for a $650). He was completely unprofessional and had no ability to accurately explain how logically it could happen. Only to refer me to a disclaimer on the survey. I would never use this company again for any reason and would never recommend them to another person for use.
