Had A/C repaired took from about 1:30pm till closing. Not really slow considering they have 7 bays, 4 inside 3 outside and they were full. The heat builds up in the shop it's actually a little cooler outside.
Even though it was 103°F, 23%humidity.
Then the new compressor was faulty so they had to replace it too.
The 4 and a half or 5 hours wasn't bad considering all the above.
Price was square on the button with the online search results for an estimate of the cost.
So they are a fair business.
The current managers Andrew and Tyler seem to have it running.
The owner changed sometime between the last review and this review. Attitude is better now business is packed new floor plan. Very fast estimates and parts orders.
Has fair snack area but there is a chicken express restaurant across the street and two convenience stores across the streets.
Building is old so do not expect it to look like an hospital clean because it won't be. They work on cars not cleaning rooms.
So tire marks on the floor is normal in a auto shop.
Polite Management and Auto technicians.
All bad reviews of early then this review were for previous past ownership.

This is second part of my above review.
Took car back ac wasn't working as it should have been.
Still same politeness and promptness.
And have hired some new technicians.
But the ac still doesn't work properly it's not cooling the car just the area directly aimed at by the vents and only as far away from the vents as the drivers face. It's my sister's car she's had it with this place said not to come back.

Updated this because of what I just found when I went to change oil. I'm adding photographs of the missing and uncompleted things. Very unprofessional.

This place is horrible, do not choose this place. My parents were scammed by these guys with cheap brake pads just a year prior.
I made the mistake of going to this location to get my oil changed. The cover to one of my rims was never put back on from a tire rotation, my oil was never changed, one of the lug nuts wasn't fully tightened on the wheel with the missing cover and my fluids were left bone dry after requesting my fluids to be checked.
Trust me, go somewhere else!

Plain and simple. I went there for an oil change. They overfilled my oil level which caused my Rear Main Seal to leak. A 15$ oil change is costing me over 600$. I will not be back!

Left after waiting for an hour and half without getting oil change. Had talked to service manager twice and was not told they only had one mechanic changing oil. They were not busy.

Took my work van in to tilden on Jan 31st to get a new engine installed. I ask mike when it could be repaired he said Tuesday / Wednesday no problem . Tuesday rolls around not ready , Wednesday nothing we called every day till Friday the 02/08/13 when the van was finally completed so they said. Tilden never called let us to let us know about the problems or delays. When i go to pick up the van and get it back to the shop. I start looking at the work preformed. At that time I notice there is old caked on mud on the oil pan, antifreeze and oil all over the inside of the van. No air conditioner the motor is hitting the motor compartment radiator is leaking and check engine light is on . Promised me a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty. All of this at the low price 0f $2,000 dollars . On the receipt it says 90 day 3,000 mile warranty. Bottom line people DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES TO TILDENS FOR REPAIRS. They don t stand behind quotes, They don t take responsibility for their employees actions. Such as The one called Mike . They do not stand behind their work.

Had a knocking under my vehicle, they told me it was a part that needed to be replaced that would cost me around 500 dollars. Took it to another shop to find out it was the splash guard that was broken and was rattling. Once i clothes hanger wired it back up the knocking went away. They also took my dad for 2 engines in his truck telling him his engine was blown, when we took it to another shop the issue had nothing to do with the engine. After the second "Engine replacement" We got his truck home and it wouldnt start after we turned it off and they told us we would have to pay another 80 for towing and have to pay to have it fixed again. THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS. I also dated someone who used to work there and was told that they purposefully tell you things are wrong banking on the fact you wont know better and you will think they are helping you. Like telling your brakes are out when in fact they are just fine.

this place sucks....your lucky I don't go into detail.

Great place to go for a quick, inexpensive oil change. Never had a problem here, and service persons are couteous.

Tilden replaced my fuel pump last year and it needed to be replaced again just over a year later. When my car wouldn't start again, they told me I needed a new battery (even though AutoZone cleaned it off and then got a 100% reading). When I called to ask about the warranty on my fuel pump, Crystal was rude and basically told me she didn't care if I ever came back. So I won't.

Stephen, thanks for being very helpful. I brought my car in last week to find out why my check engine light kept coming on and you had it figured out within an hour. Again thanks for all the help.

As a consumer advocate, I went in to Tilden's to have a simple oil change. At first glance I noticed the establishment was tidy and the person behind the counter greeted me when I walked through the door. They seemed busy however they had me in and out within 30 minutes. I was equally impressed with the customer service and would highly recommend this business for an oil change.

Went in to get new tires. They guys were pretty cool and they were fast. price was fair. I would recommend these guys to get your car done.

Took and had my car inspected here and was in and out with hardly any wait. The were quick and friendly

The Las Vegas shop is the best place to go for car repair. They have ASE certified mechanics that know what they are doing. Brad gave me a great price on brakes and tires.

Good place to have your vehichle worked on. took my Gmc truck in right before the Thanksgiving holiday to have it serviced before I took the family out of town. They did an excellent job. Would recommend them to my friends.

The Cheapest place to get your oil changed! I am a student and I am always looking for the best deals. The servive was good and the wait was very short. The place was clean and very friendly

thanks Tildens for the work yall did on my vehicle! I couldnt figure out why it kept overheating on me. I brought it to your shop and you let me know that my thermostat was out. I was in and out of the shop in no time. The lobby was very clean and the atmoshere was great.
