This place is a RIP off , my son took his truck to them September last year to have the transmission worked it cost a little over two thousand dollars to get transmission repaired well after the repair was supposedly done he put maybe a 100 miles on the truck with a freshly rebuilt transmission , this past week he goes to drive the truck and it will not go into gear at all we push back only to find the transmission fluid all over the drive way so we immediately call rainwater back he says he will look at it bring it up to him well its explained it will not drive at all can he tow it he said sure so it got towed and he had it for two days my son calls on it and he said it will be 60 bucks what happen to the warranty he said second tow is not free he never said nothing about being charged at all and he said he will have to talk to Corp office well they lowered to 50 bucks , asked what happen to it they said band need to be replaced was asked didnt yall do that the first time all he did was stutter after that , for one there is no corp office this guy uses that as a tactic which is garbage, not even a year old rebuilt transmission lasted with their shady repair they did so BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY !

THEY WILL FOR SURE LOSE THEIR A+ RATING AT THE BBB FOR SURE WILL BE FILING A LONG REPORT WITH THEM FOR SURE AGAIN BEWARE SHADY TRANSMISSION SHOP !

HORRIBLE! Worst experience EVER dealing with vehicle. Bought car previous owner left because they didn't want to pay for repairs on transmission. Went in to resolve issues with mix up about the title and DMV and was cursed out and disrespected by owner who also made vulgar comments. 4 months later the car starts jerking and transmission sticking. Take it to get diagnostic and it reads out faulty solenoid in transmission that keeps sticking. How is this so when Rainwater was supposed to have fixed it? Yet they felt comfortable selling it to me. They were so nice and professional before, but as soon as my money was in their hands they showed their true colors!

The check engine light went on in my Jeep, and after taking it to Autozone to check the code, they told me it was a problem with the transmission. I called Rainwater because members of my family spoke highly of them. Definitely did not disappoint. They got me in the next day, and even though the it ended up not being the tranny, they explained what was wrong and told me where to go to have it fixed.

This place has outstanding honest and upfront. I highly recommend this establishment if you're looking for the best money can buy. Thank you!!

Quality service at a very fair price. Rebuilt my Chevy engine and did not overcharge, runs like a charm. Car was ready on time. Definitely recommend highly.

I felt compelled to write a review.Rainwater's Transmission and Automotive Repair deserves an A+ for their service,and customer care.I took my diesel to them as the transmission was slipping. They diagnosed it and found it needed a full rebuild.I did have it diagnosed by a Ford dealer and they told me the same thing. He gave me a very fair price 1/2 what Ford quoted and finished the job by the scheduled date. The transmission now has 10,000 miles on it since it was rebuilt and is working great. So refreshing to find a company that provides quality,and friendly service. They've earned my business.

Wow! I am glad I did not see the review from Jennifer from 2014 before leaving my car with Rainwater Transmission this month. Otherwise I might have been stuck paying a higher price at a different shop without even knowing what I was paying for.... I was very impressed with Rainwater Transmission. After getting three completely different quotes to repair my transmission over the phone from three other Transmission Repair Shops, I decided to put my faith in the folks at Rainwater Transmission. First of all, Rainwater did not just give me a quote over the phone without even checking my car like the other shops did.... Even I know there are many parts within a transmission that can be replaced. How in the heck can a repair shop quote me a price without even checking which parts need to be replaced and which parts are still good?? I received Free Towing as long as they did the work (that is fair enough) and was pleasantly surprised to find out that only one part within my transmission needed replacing. From now on I will return to Rainwater where they respect my intelligence enough to explain things and not just hit me with a high price off the top of their heads like so many other Auto Repair shops I have dealt with in the past. I don't mind paying a fair price for something as long as I know what exactly it is I am paying for!
