Mark Lane Attorney

I will never use them again nor will I ever refer anyone to them again. My experience with them was negative and very similar to the other negative reviews I have read on them.

I agree with the reviewer who said if there was a negative star I would use it.







I hired this guy after a Google search to process a simple uncontested divorce. He never answered his phone. I couldn't even get his paralegal to call me back. He delayed processing the paperwork for a couple months. During that period my wife decided she no longer wanted an uncontested divorce. He asked for another $2000 up front to continue handling my case at $400/hr. I questioned him about the lack of responsiveness and you wouldn't believe the reaction I got! He started cursing at me! Dropped the F-bomb. Said he didn't want to listen to my b!tching. When I asked him to stop cursing he told me to get out of his office and that he would be billing me. For what I don't know! I already paid him in advance. One minute he's talking about how hurtful this divorce must be. Literally two minutes later he's cursing me out so loud it scared the people in the lobby. I stood there and asked why things escalated so quickly. He then threatening to call the police if I didn't leave immediately. It was all very bizarre. As I mentioned I had trouble getting my calls returned before this incident. Unfortunately AFTER hiring him I went to look up some reviews. I found a couple that described identical circumstances where he started yelling and cursing. Really bizarre and unprofessional. I wonder if he didn't delay the paperwork just so my wife might change this to a contested divorce and he could rack up fees.

I'm a physician. This guy has a Napoleon complex or perhaps a borderline personality disorder. I figured any lawyer would do for processing a simple uncontested divorce. It doesn't matter what it's for. If you're blindly searching google like I was do yourself a favor find a different lawyer. If you've already hired him and any of this rings true consider cutting your losses.

If there was a negative star I would choose that. If you want to hire a arrogant man who has no regard for your case Mark Lane is your man! I hired him to defend my Son in a case. He pressured me to pay him a down payment the day of the consult. Should have been my first clue he operates like a 3rd rate con man. once he got my Sons money he refused to answer or return calls. His staff was disorganized and misinformed. The simplest of procedures were grossly mishandled. I cant begin to describe the helpless feeling of knowing the person who was supposed to be helping you and advocate for you in a life changing legal circumstance absolutely has no concern for your situation! The final straw was his assistant Hailey told my Son his presence wasn't needed in court that Mr. Lane would be there. Days after court my Son tried to contact Mr. Lane to find out outcome. Mr. Lane of course never would respond. When we called the court we found out Mr. Lane DIDN'T EVEN SHOW UP FOR COURT! Resulting in a Warrant for My Son! When we checked with the court he had never even filed with the court as his attorney. He then later sent a fake copy of a letter to me saying he did file. What a joke. We are educated, honest people and his misconduct and negligence was absolutely shocking! I think he pays people to sprinkle so good reviews on sites. All the reviews of how hateful and negligent he is are the TRUE reviews. I can not figure out how his license hasn't been revoked yet. People you need to contact the bar and report this man that thinks he is above reproach in taking advantage of people who put their trust in him.

I have been a client for almost 9 years.. that is a long time of dealing with someone. I am very pleased with my experiences and I will always hire Mark Lane when I am needing family law help. From day one, I have had Mark's cell phone and email address. I never leave messages. If I need to talk to Mark, I email him or send a text. He is a busy man! He always gets back to me. I had an emergency on a Saturday evening; I texted. Mark called me immediately and calmed me down. First thing Monday morning, I was in Mark's office filing a protective order. I realize that I am not his only client and he isn't going to jump every time I call; but when I need him because of an emergency, I have no doubt he will be there. He has always shown up to court prepared and ready to go. I have a very high conflict situation and he has been on top of my case since the day I hired him. I will always recommend Mark to my friends.

Very professional staff, attentive and genuine. I was always kept in the loop of what was going on. I would highly recommend hiring Mr. Lane to handle your case. Very assertive as far as speaking with the opposing attorney.

Mark Lane is a dedicated,Christian man. And God brought these caring loving people into my life at just the right time. Mark, Deborah and his awesome staff took on our case with only four days to trial. Everyone worked around the clock to get the case ready..Mark cleared his whole schedule for our Monday morning court date. The court date was postponed. Mark assured us that he was ready and we would win. We were going for 50/50 custody and would not settle for less. We had been following a 50/50 schedule for a year since the split.We finally got a new court date. We were in and out of court in less than an hour. The knowledge and confidence Mark has, I knew we wouldn't be disappointed. I always believed in him from the moment we met. We received everything we wanted and everything he told us was spot on. He is amazing, couldn't ask for better. I realize things don't always end up the way you want. But the time,energy and extreme caring that he has for his clients. I would use him all over again. I thank god everyday that Mark and Deborah crossed my path. It was destiny.

Mark Lane Is currently helping me with a case and from the first phone call, he has been extremely responsive. I spoke with he and his office staff and received counsel the day I needed it. Mark's knowledge of the law has been very helpful. I highly recommend Mark Lane as a lawyer.

Mark was very honest and upfront about his opinion of my case. Im glad he wasn't one of those lawyers that just says what I want to hear just so he can get my money. I hired Mark for my custody case. He was easy to reach whenever I tried to get ahold of him. His staff was also very helpful and supportive and also easy to get ahold of.
