Teeth Cleaning
Dental Sealants

Fillings
Resin Composite
Bonding - Direct composite resin bonding can cover discolored tooth structure and can "straighten" crooked teeth. Also allows the dentist to save a maximum amount of natural tooth structure. Can also be combined with restoring decay.
Veneers
Dr. Murphey offers a full range of preventative, restorative, and root canal prostheses, crowns and bridges, traditional dentures, and root canal therapy. They can treat many periodontal cases and most children. Dr. Murphey also extracts teeth when necessary. Dr. Murphey has a special interest in salvaging difficult-to-restore teeth. They also offer cosmetic services such as bleaching, bonding, and veneers.
Crowns
- Allow a sound toothe with a dead/infected nerve to be made healthy and thus continue to serve after treatment. Most root-canal-treated teeth later require crowns.
Bridges
- These replace missing teeth. A fixed bridge is non-removable. Think: "Like implants, but pre- 1980 technology." Still a great option, if you keep them clean. In fact, if you already HAVE crowns, it may be a better option than implants, at least cost-wise.

Fillings - restore cavities Cleaning of teeth includes removal of concretions of tartar - often called calculus - as well as soft plaque and stains. Because these local factors cause gum disease, the concern is that this is not just a cosmetic procedure - it saves teeth. Each patient recieves coaching in home care at no charge.

Root Canal Treatment

Dentures
- Well-made full dentures are still a great service for patients without teeth. Our denture cases are all made with personalized two-step custom-tray impressions. Wax try-ins minimize surprises in appearance. We are proud of our denture service.

Dental Implants
Implant - Borne Prothesis (maybe single crowns or bridges) - we offer a range of implant-supported options, from single unit crowns, to bridges, and even implant-supported dentures. Modern implants are highly successful. All of ours are placed by board-certified oral surgeons.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Gum Surgery
Gum Therapy - Includes scalings to remove concretions, and minor gum surgery. Major cases including cases needing specialized care such as grafting are usually referred to a periodontist.

Teeth Whitening
Bleaching - Excellent for lightening the color of natural teeth. One to two appointments are required. It won't lighten old plastic fillings or crowns.
