Teeth Cleaning
Fluoride Treatment
To help your family enjoy excellent oral health, we recommend seeing Dr. Bolin twice a year for regular family dentistry checkups and routine cleanings. During visits like these, Dr. Bolin can check your smile for common oral health conditions like tooth decay or gum disease, and can recommend one or more services to treat them. What’s more, two of our Fort Worth family dentistry services–routine cleanings and fluoride treatments–are designed to prevent them from even happening.

Fillings
If you're embarrassed about your smile because of decay or dark fillings in your teeth, you may be a good candidate for composite resins. A silicon dioxide-filled, tooth-colored plastic mixture, composite resins can restore teeth to an attractive, healthy state. Composite resins represent several advantages over traditional silver or amalgam fillings.
Resin Composite
Because composite resins are not made of metal, we can blend and mix shades to find the perfect color to match your natural teeth. This means only you and your dentist will know you have fillings. Another pro is that the tooth/composite bond actually supports the remaining tooth structure, deterring breakage and insulating against temperature changes. Best of all, composite resins allow us to keep more of your natural tooth structure intact than amalgams. We believe in conservative dentistry – the more natural tooth structure you keep, the better teeth you’ll likely have in the future.
Veneers
Are you proud of your smile? Do you look at magazine models and television stars wishing you had the same confident grin they have? If your front teeth are discolored and stained, chipped, cracked, slightly misaligned, or have metal fillings, consider veneers. Made from thin sheaths of porcelain layered atop each other, veneers can completely cover the front of your teeth to create a perfectly shaped, dazzlingly white, absolutely gorgeous smile. The most modern veneers look completely natural, too.
Crowns
The American Dental Association recommends you see your dentist at least twice each year for a checkup and hygiene appointment. At your checkup, we will inspect your soft tissues for oral cancer, periodontal disease, and other problems. Dr. Bolin will also look at each tooth in your mouth to assess problems like tooth decay or cracks, as well as old dental work. Sometimes old dental work wears out and needs to be replaced. We will be happy to replace metal fillings, inlays, onlays, and crowns with tooth-colored alternatives.
Bridges
Crowns and bridges usually take 2 or 3 appointments to complete. Before you receive you permanent restorations, you’ll be fitted for temporary ones. These may break if too much pressure is placed on them. If this happens, save the temporary piece and call our office immediately so it can be replaced as soon as possible. To avoid this, do not eat foods that are sticky or hard and try to chew food away from the temporary if possible.
Dental Bonding
As effective as each service is, not every one of them is right for every patient. If your teeth are just a bit stained or dull, you may only need Dr. Bolin’s help whitening them a bit. Our Fort Worth dental office offers in-office and at-home teeth whitening to help patients meet their different needs or preferences. If cracked, chipped, or misaligned teeth are what you need help with, cosmetic dentist Dr. Bolin can help using porcelain veneers or cosmetic bonding. Both are designed to hide common flaws and create a more perfect smile.
Restorative Dentistry

Root Canal Treatment
In most cases, a temporary restoration is provided after root canal treatment while a permanent one is constructed. Try not to bite on the affected tooth for an hour or so after treatment. Even after this time has passed, try to chew on the opposite side of your mouth.
