I have two children that have attended this child care center since it opened in 2010, and we have enjoyed this school. My children love going to CCA, and have learned a lot from this program. The teachers are friendly, and really care about the children in their care

Jayden is so lucky to have had each of you and he knows it. You can see it in his eyes when he is greeted by each of you in the morning. He has especially loved his first hug of the day from Miss Amber. Each day we have been extremely blessed to know that he is safe in your loving hands and loving hearts.

I recently learned about this site having multiple negative reviews written by former disgruntle employees. I have worked here for more than two years and can assure you that this child care facility is run professionally and goes beyond the minimum standards set by the state. We have many parents that have had their children enrolled here since our center opened in 2010, and have stayed because they love our center. When there is a problem the director works hard to address the issue, and makes changes to our center accordingly. I would encourage you to come see for yourself what a great center this is rather than listening to these former employees that are only out for revenge.

Class rooms are overcrowded and the management is unfriendly and obviously oblivious to what is going on in their center. I wound recommend staying as far away from this place as possible.

My daughter has been enrolled ...

My daughter has been enrolled for a year and I cannot praise this daycare enough. It's unbelievable how affordable this place and all the benefits you get. No other daycare in the area follows NAEYC standards and the kids learn so much from it. The teachers are very caring and attentive to the kids and the children to teacher ratio is perfect. I've read the other reviews and I honestly can't believe they sent their kids to same place. The daycare is extremely clean and while my child has been sick a few times, I can't fault the daycare. Kids pass germs to each other, it's a fact. And my daughter has a healthy appetite but she never leaves school hungry. They do serve portion sizes for her age, which I greatly appreciate. No need to serve an 18 month old a serving of food meant for an adult which I've seen more and more people do. Overall I'm extremely happy with the daycare and educational program.

This place is a joke. My son w...

This place is a joke. My son went here for awhile and I pulled him out because of how badly run it is. Everyone else is right about the food portions, several times I would come and pick my son up during their afternoon snack to see that each child had only been given a handful of animal crackers, or a spoonul of jello to eat with water to drink. They consistently did not follow minimum standards' food serving guidelines, my son was always hungry and his sugar was always low. It got to the point where I had to pack extra snacks for him everyday.

Another huge issue is class sizes. When I pulled my son out his class (the fives) had over 30 children in it... in a room far too small for all the children. the teacher told me they could have as many kids as they had cubbies, which is 38 in that room alone. the teachers are overwhelmed all the time and the room is in chaos.

My biggest problem came from the directors. Jennifer was consistently rude and down talked other parents and myself, and Pam is so disorganized that the junk stacked up in her office nearly falls out into the hallway. There was a very violent boy in my sons class who would constantly hit, bite, kick, ect the other children and teachers. my son was injured by him three times. When I asked why the troublemaker was still allowed to come to school there, the teacher said "because his parents pay for him to." well, I was a (very unsatisfied) paying customer too, and I disenrolled my child the next day.

This place is a mess. The food portions are way too small i mean seriously as much as i pay my children should get more food lets not be stingy when it comes to kids. My child picked up bad behaviors in the 4 year old room and i felt like the teacher in there was very unprofessional i would see her talk to other parents about the teacher she worked (who by the way is a joke) and about the other kids who had behavioral problems and she is also loud and rude to the kids always seemed stressed out. The girls who work at the front are rude and also unprofessional i walked in one day to over hear a conversation about the girl in the front on her cell phone( which is against minimum standards) making a doctors appointment to get the implanon like are you serious and crazy and the director was in her office where she always seems to be. i saw children with bad behaviors and the toys i the classroom are a joke most of them broken or not age appropriate the inside room where the kids are supposed to play if there is bad weather has nothing for them to do its basically chaos everytime i walked in there but at the end of the day all ages are combined and i aslo have a 2 year old who i do not want to be around older kids wrestling and jumping on top of each other. stay away if you want your child to learn and be safe pick a different place

Our son went to this daycare f...

Our son went to this daycare for several months. He picked up some really bad behaviors while in the 3 year old room and when he was moved into the 4s his behavior got even worse. The teachers are rude and I have been told by staff that several teachers like to talk about the childrens behaviors and badly about the parents while on their lunch breaks. Management needs alot of attention. They are inconsistent, rude and not very proffessional. Meal amounts are very small and the food menu is not very healthy. Sometimes my child went with no drinks because the cook would forget to bring it.

They charge too many fees for the little amount of activities that they do. Between summer fees, annual registration and supply fees plus weekly tuition you don't really see where the money goes. The classrooms do not have many educational toys, I've seen happy meal toys, broken play furniture.

Teachers are on their phones constantly, their backs to the children and you can at times hear the teachers yelling when you walk into the building.

I took medicine to the center that my child needed to take for a full week straight at certain times. when I would pick up the bottle it had the same amount and come to find out they had "forgotten" to give it to him. I was also made aware that a child had come to school with nits in her hair and wasn't sent home till later in the day instead of immediately.

This place needs alot of management attention. Better training for teachers, a different curriculm and more caring!

My son loves this day care. The teachers seem to make it fun for him to learn. He is constantly talking about his teachers, and his friends. The director has helped me manage some of my son's more difficult behaviors. The day care also takes pictures of the children doing fun things and posts them on a digital screen in the lobby for parents to see. I enjoy seeing the pictures, and being informed of upcoming events through monthly news letters.

Childcare facility

This childcare facility is new in the area. However, besides some of the teachers it definetely needs some proffesional attention. They change teacher in and out all the time and it confuses the children. My son actually regressed when he was there. He always came home starving and I asked the teachers and they keep telling the director they need more food but she could care less. My son was also suppose to be given medicine for allergies but the director "forgot" for a week straight and my son got worse. The cleanliness there seems to be a problem as well, because the children and teachers would get sick all the time over and over. No matter how low their prices are, you get what you pay for. And childcare is not where you should be cutting on spending.

Compass is a wonderful place for your children. The staff is knowledgable, caring and loving. The curriculum is outstanding. My children have learned so much since they started. The center also has special things like Tumblebus and dance classes. Compass really has a lot to offer. My children love it there and I can think of no better place for my children.
