THEY WILL LIE TO YOU - DO NOT GO HERE.
I am absolutely shocked by their attempt to manipulate me. I came in for a tire patch - ended up having to pay for a new tube and tire - $236 (That's expected if nail is too deep into tire). I asked them to do a brake check while they were under. He informed me that I needed new rotors and brakes totaling over $1,500. He said the situation was metal - on - metal and needed replacing NOW. I was very skeptical because I saw 0 indication of these problems. I said I would pick up the car because I wanted to check for myself. I have replaced my own rotors and brakes before so luckily I have some experience. I go home and take apart my rotors and brakes. I had 80-60% life left on rotors and brake pads. There was absolutely no problem. This shop will lie to get your money. I am a young female and they were probably just hoping to get an extra buck. I will be reporting to the BBB.

Horrible. I went in to get new brake pads, all new rotors, and an oil change. 24 hours later my car won't start due to a starter that has oil on it. I've had a starter issue before but this took my car down with symptoms apparent for less than 24 hours. They will not accept responsibility for any human error that may have occurred as I had no issue before going in and now that someone has been under my hood tampering with my oil I'm responsible for the $475 starter. My Transmission Also Slips Every Time From Like 1st to 2nd Gear. I have to pay full price for something that I don't believe happened out of no where. Before I leave the gentleman states that my the oil component that broke is in a weird spot as basically to say if there was any human error thank the manufacturer of the car GM because the switch is near my starter. The statement alone was enough for me to feel confident human error occurred yet I still paid Pep Boys almost $500 because I need to get to work .

They always give new good service but watch out for service mgr Miguel he wants to do work I don't need. The other guys are not like that.

Had my car there for 2 days for an oil change, replace 2 sensors and sparkplugs. Was quoted $506. After ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION from them in 24 hours (everytime I called I was given excuses or that they would call me) I physically went to the store to check on my car. They told me it was done and handed me a bill for $650. $150 OVER what they quoted me and I did not ok it!!!! I don't know about you, but I don't have an extra $150 just laying around!!! Shame on you Pepboys!!! Evidently customer service and customer loyalty are not a big concern of this "Big Business". Never will I spend another dime at this Pepboys or any other. I hope this helps other people on deciding where not to have their car serviced.
