Cornerstone Recovery was established in 2012, but its foundation as a drug and alcohol addiction treatment center was laid over twenty years earlier on the sands of Serenity Beach. There’s no monument erected to the memory of Serenity Beach, no placards or signs indicating where, along South Florida’s east coast, Serenity Beach is, and our footsteps have long since been washed away by the waxing and waning of the tides, but Serenity Beach still exists in our hearts and in our minds, in the experiences we shared and the recovery we pursued.Serenity Beach was our haven: a solitary spot brought to life by the then dozens of us who elected to replace our addictions with fellowship, to seek a comfort in treatment that for so long eluded us. Serenity Beach was an affirmation that, though we were afflicted by addiction, we could find strength in each other, peace in ourselves, love in our community, and meaning in the world around us.Our philosophy is simple: Honesty is the cornerstone of recovery.Our staff of experienced addiction treatment professionals is committed to recovery, to sobriety, and to filling the void left by addiction with positive action.Our addiction treatment center and residential complexes are designed to provide ample comfort to our clients while they seek treatment.We are proud to call South Florida home and are dedicated to contributing to its standing as a community of recovery.

Cornerstone Recovery Center offers a bevy of services intended to create a lifestyle of recovery. By addressing a patient’s past, present, and future needs, we create specially individualized treatment plans under the umbrella of our suite of services. Our treatment facility seeks to affirm South Florida’s community of recovery by offering residential services, outpatient treatment, and aftercare programs, all of which integrate relapse prevention as a tenet of treatment.Cornerstone further incorporates positive lifestyle practices such as nutritional counseling in an effort to foster the positive action necessary upon which to build lifelong sobriety and recovery. We firmly believe in our process of integrating individual client needs within the services we offer so as to properly address drug and alcohol addiction treatment as it relates to the identified client and the support system so heavily vested in his or her recovery.Our Partial Hospitalization addiction treatment program (PHP) provides our clients with the comforts of housing and transport while taking a more in depth approach toward recovery.The Intensive Outpatient Program fosters recovery by exposing clients to our suite of treatment services as tailored to individual needs.In pursuing a lifetime of recovery, clients will have complete access to our suite ofaftercare services, the details of which can be provided upon request.We will be sure to incorporate your past, present, and future needs along with the more common hardships that affect us all in discussing relapse prevention.Along with our commitment to mental and spiritual health, we believe in healthy and positive dietary changes through comprehensive nutritional counseling as a means to fully addressing drug and alcohol addiction.
