David's has excellent food and amazing service. It is one of our favorite go to places when we are in Fort Bragg.

Hello, my name is Janea and I am from David's. I want to start by apolagizing for your experience at David's the last time you visited Fort Bragg. We have made a few changes since your last post. Kira Klyse bought David's in January of 2011 and has been working vigirously with the help of her staff to enusre prompt service where you are greated at the door, excellent food, quantity and price. We only serve fresh, never frozen Certified Angus Beef and cook our turkey for our deli and specialty sandwiches in our own oven. Our staff now, is committed to not only providing you with the best service around, but with appriciation for you coming and sharing your meal with us. i hope you will give us another try! Fort Bragg has several restaurants to chose from, don't waste your time going to this one if your on vacation. The only reason it gets two stars is because it is clean and the food is average, and not completely horrid. The prices are astronomical, even for California, for things that are extremely basic. I went there with a group of friends for breakfast and I only received my side order. At first the waitress said it would be late, then several minutes later "Oh the cook completely spaced" and then another ten minutes later came out and asked "If I maybe wanted something else instead?" At this point it didn't even matter, and I said "No" because all of my friends had finished their meals already. By the time I finally got my food, everyone else had received to go boxes, so I just took mine to go. They still charged me for my side dish ($5 for some bread...). I've been there a few times, and while the experience wasn't ever very good, this is the first time I ever needed to have my meal priced reduced.
