Verizon

My battery will not hold a charge nor does my charger charge. I have a stratus sphere, And I am a brand new Verizon customer since August. I have had technical problems with this phone since day 1, this is actually a refurbished replacement phone. I go into this store, there are 3 people working. Mike, Laura & Katrina, I'm the only customer in the store. I explain my situation to Katrina (store manager), she takes off the back and tells me my battery has water damage, but not the phone. None the less she can't do anything for me. She tells me I have to call Verizon, I have to ask for the number and I ask to call, so she allows me and uses her charger to charge my phone. I'm on the phone for 30 minutes waiting to speak to some one. The Verizon rep tells me they can't issue me a battery and charger because that model is "END OF LIFE" I'm referred over to insurance, where they want me to pay a $99 deductable for a phone I paid $50 for and is currently free. While I'm on the phone, Katrina was on face book messenger, Mike was telling Katrina lude jokes and Laura was just wandering around then the call was disconnected, so I had to go through the whole spill again.The second rep tells me to call insurance back explain the misunderstanding that nothing is wrong with the phoneand get them to issue me a replacement that comes with a new battery and charger, where Laura speaks up about FRAUD! And snatches the phone away from me speaking to the rep briefly and discontinuing the call with out asking me if I still needed to talk to the rep. Lo and behold after an hour an a half, nothing had been done for me and it ended with Laura doing a stair down intimidation with me. It turns out verizon cares more about establishing new customers than they do their current customers having working phones. That particular store has bad customer service period!
