Greatest! I've been a member for more than twenty five years!!

Well Folks:
WARNING: "Let the Buyer Beware"
If you use their "Call Center" for help - Well you will find that this is the worst of all Credit Unions in Southeastern Michigan. They have a hard time in helping their members in simple tasks like online Banking issues! Call center employees think that are superior and above the members calling in for help.

SUMMARY:
My spouse and myself learned a lesson: "That not to use the 800 Call Center number for assistance" So in that light after reading other complaints we will be only be using the branch office employees for help. They are the best employees I have found over the years using; Banks and Credit Unions.

This Branch of Credit Union One in Shelby Twp., Michigan was very refreshing to me and my spouse after issues with; Christian Credit Union and Dearborn Federal Credit Union over the years.

Credit Union ONE Branch offices are: "The State Of The Art" The Tellers are in the Corporate Office and you use "Three Computers wall mounted on the main wall of this branch". There are 4+ employees to help you in your banking needs. This is a flip from other Credit Unions we have used where there is only one or two tellers, perhaps one other employee to help you in other matters. I personally feel that Credit Union One is the state of the art and the leading edge in this financial field.

I wouldn't give them any stars, if that was an option. They are by far the worst financial institution I have ever wired with. I had a car loan through them and have never had so many payments conveniently denied after my 10 day grace period. I have tried checks, money orders, over the phone, online and all denied!! There only option was to do automatic withdrawals. Why would I give you my bank account info if you can't even cash a check... Stay away from these crooks if at all possible.

I have had so many problems with Credit Union One it is unbelievable. First of all, they hold every single check you deposit for three days. None of the money you deposit is available to you. This was a shock coming from another credit union that allows you immediate access to your money.



My husband also had his auto loan through Credit Union One. After we got back from our honeymoon we started receiving statements that the car loan had not been paid even though CU One was auto-debiting the checking account we had with them for the payment. My husband had to fax them a copy of ITS OWN RECORDS to prove it was paid.



I also tried to have a hold removed from my debit card that a merchant credited and yet CU One still charged me an overdraft fee.



There are so many more stories - we were with this bank less than a year. We went back to our old credit union even though they do not have a branch within 20 miles of us. We are treated much better - find a real credit union!
