Pertussis can be extremely serious in babies and young children, causing pneumonia, convulsions, brain damage, or death. In teens and adults, it can cause weight loss, loss of bladder control, passing out, and rib fractures from severe coughing.

We offer all primary care needs for children and adolescents birth through high school graduation. Ear Infections
Haemophilus influenzae type b can cause many different kinds of infections. These infections usually affect children under 5 years of age, but can also affect adults with certain medical conditions. Hib bacteria can cause mild illness, such as ear infections or bronchitis, or they can cause severe illness, such as infections of the bloodstream. Severe Hib infection, also called invasive Hib disease, requires treatment in a hospital and can sometimes result in death.
Emergency Care
If the nurse determines that your concern is urgent she may refer you directly to your nearest hospital emergency room or she may contact our physician on call for additional instructions. As we believe the single most important preventative medical intervention is vaccines, if your belief as a parent differs then the basis for a trusting relationship is missing. As a result if your immunization philosophy differs from our view, we would ask that you choose another clinic that aligns with your preferences and shares your medical philosophy.

Based on all available literature, evidence, and current studies, we do not believe vaccines or the occasionally used preservative thimerosal cause autism or other development disabilities.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Missed Appointments Policy Missed appointments that are not correctly cancelled will be considered "no show" appointments. "No-show" appointments represent a cost to us, to you, and to other patients that could have been seen at the time set aside for you. We reserve the right to bill you $25 for each "no-show". This fee will be your responsibility and will not be billed to your insurance company. Chronic illness visits or ADD/ADHD visits which have additional time set aside for them may count as more than one "no-show" if missed.
