The Owners at Pan Am Florist are new and are far from what is described in the earlier reviews in 2014 and before. They are the nicest and most accommodating people one would ever wish to work with. I have used them on four occasions thus far in a year. The first was for a wedding anniversary arrangement. I arrived a few minutes before they closed in the hopes of finding an arrangement already made. They were kind enough to stay after closing and prepare an arrangement for me on the spot. All in all they stayed an extra half hour after closing to help me out. The arrangement was beautiful. I have used them since. They are always welcoming and work with me to design exactly what I need. I just bought another anniversary arrangement from them today, Don't let old reviews sway your decision. This is a great florist!

I am appalled at the attitude of this florist. One would think that a florist would have some kind of decency or heart but not Pan Am Florists. A friend was going through a tough time and since we were unable to be by her side we opted to send flowers. The flowers were left at her front door in 10 degree weather and they died, so how are dead flowers supposed to make someone who is going through a tough time feel better? And yes it gets even worse, when our friend called and asked for replacement flowers Pan Am told her that they would deliver new flowers when it was convenient for them not her!! Thankfully the flowers were ordered through 1800flowers and they were able to find a different company to send flowers to her.



I would stay away from Pan Am Florists, their website even states, "Family owned and committed to offering only the finest floral arrangements and gifts, backed by service that is friendly and prompt. Because all of our customers are important, our professional staff is dedicated to making your experience a pleasant one. That is why we always go the extra mile to make your floral gift perfect. Let us be your first choice for flowers." But it is completely false they were not friendly, or prompt and they did NOT make our experience a pleasant one nor go that extra mile!

Words cannot describe how disgusted i am with Pan Am Florist. Several friends and I had flowers delivered to our friend in a time of need because we all felt terrible we could not be there with her to mourn a devastating loss. To hear the flowers we sent her were dead was bad enough. But, to add insult to injury, the florist was extremely rude to her when she called asking about a replacement. Reading other reviews, it appears this is not the first time this "florist" has had the same complaints. I would only recommend using this florist if you want to be disappointed and then attacked for asking fo a replacement. Pan Am.....you should be ashamed of your lack of compassion.

For just a second try to imagine the most devastating loss a parent can suffer and then imagine dead flowers left at your doorstep. Are you crying yet? I am. Imagine wanting to comfort your friend during their incredibly difficult loss but being hours and hours away - so you send flowers to try and let that person know they are loved, supported and you are thinking about them constantly only to find out what happened... You guessed it... I'm crying again. So my friend calls the florist to ask them to replace the flowers and no call back originally.... So now I call 1800Flowers to tell them what happened because that's where I placed my order and ask them to replace the flowers. They were mortified and thank goodness they have excellent costumer service because Pan Am certainly doesn't. 1800Flowers said they would replace the flowers and have the florist redeliver them. The florist proceeded to call my friend and basically tell her they don't give a crap about her situation or when she'll be home and they'll deliver them only between a certain time so she needs to figure out when she'll be available within the florists time frame... ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? So I call 1800Flowers and tell them to find another florist because this is completely unacceptable. Luckily there are many others in the area. I urge you not to use this florist. They don't care about their flowers, their customers or their recipients... I don't know how they stay in business. Disgusted. Look elsewhere for your flower needs.

THIS PLACE RUINED MY VALENTINES DAY!!!!

THIS PLACE RUINED MY VALENTINES DAY! My fiance was trying to surprise me with flowers for Valentines Day!..Well he didn't want to take a chance dealing with a major flower company because it was V-day and he didn't want to risk me not getting them. So a week before Valentines Day he goes into Pan Am Florist which is literally 2 minutes from where i work and pays for a flower arrangement and DELIVERY to my job. (I work so close to pan am that i could have been walked there). So valentines day comes and i get nothing.. finally my fiance who is livid by now ask me did i get a delivery..I told him that I did not..that's when he explained that he was trying to surprise me with flowers. To make a long story short my fiance tried 10 times to call Pan Am Florist at there local 703 number no answer. 11th try he got through and was told the driver was still out making deliveries and that they still could make it to me...after he told me that I was so upset that I personally called from work myself and my coworker as well the same 703 number at least 8 times and no answer I finally tell my co-woker that I am going to walk over there... We find an 800 number for them we call that one. A gentleman answers... I explained my situation and he said uhhhhhh there right here.. (keep in mind its after 6 o'clock and my job is now been closed for 30 min) he said these were for pick up.. I said NO THEY WERE NOT.. he said uhh ohh im sorry ill have someone bring them.. THEY WERE NEVER OUT FOR DELIVERY! I could not believe it they had never even been sent out!!!!!!! I was heated.. my entire valentine surprise was ruined by Pan am florist. so 5 mins after I hang up the phone. A lady shows up at my job with flowers..I tell her to have someone from management call me as she had no idea why my flowers didn't make it to me 2 mins away from the florist..and of course no one called me..i would not recommend or trust Pan Am Florist with any special occasion as they have proven that they do not CARE!
