Davis' Restaurant & Bar

WE WILL NOT BE BACK. My Husband and I had a rare day out together and were looking forward to exploring Downtown Eugene, maybe finding a special place that we would like to visit again. This wasn't it. The service was NON EXISTENT. What type of clientele is this place hoping to attract? Obviously it wasn't us. We are conservative, over 50, live rural (35 mins away from Eugene), dress clean and conservative, and are generous tippers when we receive good service. We are polite and say please and thank you. The bartender (if you want to call her that) was dressed in an unprofessional grey outfit with no name tag, there also appeared to be a "manager" of some sort behind the bar, also another unmarked female "bartender" behind the bar. It was NOT busy. We were 2 of a total of 6 people at the bar. When my husband ordered his drink she had to consult with the "manager" to find out if she could serve it to him. It was offending and embarrassing.

I went to this place the other day for dinner on a Friday, it was a little busy and seemed a bit understaffed to me, however, the meal we had was fabulous! I got the ribs and my buddy got a burger and both were superb. My only gripe would be that the girl that made our drinks didn't seem to know the right way to make a Long Island. Otherwise great atmosphere.

Awesome place to eat and hang out! The menu on this place changes all the time and they have daily specials. Not to mention a great after-hours bar scene right in the heart of downtown Eugene. Killer smoked ribs too!

Beautiful space, great food, awesome drinks! Ate dinner and then it turned into a dance club! Great experience!
