Critter Cottage

We have a very lively Boxer who is just under a year old. We took him for the first time to Critter Cottage, is was a great first experience for us and him. Sue wasn"t put off when I told her he was an energetic pup. He came home with an excellent "report card" and a picture on their web page with Griffin.[the son] truly a family run outfit, on an older Floridian property but well run, and very caring staff. We will certainly use them again.

have boarded my 2 dogs here quite a bit since relocating to this area. The dogs are always happy and excited to go there--they jump up and down excitedly upon turning onto the property--and they are returned to us happy. They don't smell "like a kennel" and also have enjoyed a bath before going home upon request. Personnel always friendly and helpful and obviously love animals!

I have boarded my not so friendly German Sheppard several times and was extremely pleased with the card she received. Staff very friendly and helpful with reservations. We now have another German Sheppard and are planning another trip, we're confident she will be happy and well taken care of.

I have the highest praise for this lovely place! They go far more than "the extra mile" in every way,are ALWAYS friendly, helpful with creative ideas, compassionate with both pet and human concerns, and are genuinely interested in the little things that make us love our pets so much. The grooming and boarding fees are more than reasonable! I am very pleased to know that Sue and her employees are involved in many ways with the local wildlife concerns and they "walk the walk and talk the talk"! Years ago I spent absurd amounts of money for dog grooming at places that made me feel as tho they were doing me a service to "groom" my dog ( I use that world loosely) and they tried to make me feel embarrased to be a less than perfect owner. CRITTER COTTAGE is not one of those terrible places, and they make us both feel welcome and appreciated. I recommend them to everyone I speak to about pet care!!!! They are a blessing to our family.

I have a problem dog and Sue was able to handle him which says great things about her. The place was clean and pretty. Would have no problems boarding my dogs or cats there.
