Spine & Rehab Specialists

This was my first time in my whole life where I had to get therapy. The first day I came, every therapist that helped me treated me really well and were really nice. They explained everything I had to do really well and I felt really comfortable here. Nothing changed, and up to the last day everyone here was great. If something every happens to me that would require therapy, I honestly wouldn't mind coming here again. You guys are great, thank you for everything.

I came to Spine & Rehab Specialists about 3 months after surgery. I was in constant pain and couldn't wear my high heels. Which was very discouraging because I have a big collection. Therapy was very helpful and the techs and therapists were kind and made me feel at home. I am happy with the results and I would recommend Spine & Rehab Specialists to everyone! Thank you so much!!

Because I had an injection in my shoulder that made me feel so much better, I thought the physical therapy wasn't really necessary. I quickly discovered that the exercises they gave me to do showed I needed therapy. I was also pleased to be given exercises at home that were not the only ones I was doing while at therapy. My therapist thoroughly explained what each exercise was expected to accomplish. This put me at ease as well as his sense of humor. I would choose Spine & Rehab again if I'm ever in need of physical therapy. The entire staff is attentive and that is appreciated.

At the end of March, I fell while doing yard work. I landed on my left knee and left hand, jarring my left hip and shoulder. All healed except for my shoulder. I had difficulty sleeping on my left side, putting on my bra, reaching for seat belt, reaching above my head to put dishes away, etc. Finally after nearly 6 months of pain, I went to the doctor and was referred to physical therapy. After only a couple months of therapy, I was able to regain use of my arm again and am pain free. I wish I had known months ago what to do--I would have save myself a lot of pain and grief and gotten a better night's sleep. Thank you Daniel!

Well at first I was really happy that I was coming to a therapist. The people were really nice here and really helpful in my recovery. During the weeks I came to Spine & Rehab, I felt myself getting better everyday. I liked going to the place it was a good experience for me and I would recommend my friend or family member to come.

From day one everybody has been helpful, respectful, and conducted themselves in a very professional manner. They were there at all times to ensure everything was done in a correct and safe manner. The one thing I thought was great about the staff here is that everyone was very informative. When you had a question, they were always there with the answer. I would highly recommend Erik and the staff to anybody needing help with any injury. A very professional organization.

I arrived with severe pain in my right shoulder. I gained more movement with with the therapy I received. Ashley, Steve, and the rest of the staff did such a great job! I strongly recommend Spine & Rehab, they will help you out! The way the staff received me made me feel warm, welcomed, and encouraged. Even my husband enjoyed going with me. My name is Evangelina Garcia and I started coming to Spine + Rehab Specialists about 2 months ago. When I first came I was having shoulder pain almost constantly. I couldn't do my bra sometimes and raise my arms to wash my hair. I was taking 4 and sometimes 6 pain pills a day. At night, I would wake and toss and turn all the time. I think my husband was sick and tired of my complaining all the time. Today, after 2 months, I can tell you I am free of pain. I can now do all my housework and work out some in addition to my therapy sessions. I am very grateful to all the staff, especially my personal physical therapist.

The Spine Rehab Specialists is one of the best places to go if you have pain. I have gone to them for help more than once and I am very satisfied with their treatment. Harry and his workers are very friendly and have been such a huge help.

In April 2014, I tore my ACL while playing tennis. I had surgery to repair my ACL on the 13th of May 2014. I elected to use a section of my hamstring to repair, although my doctor advised me that recovery could take longer than with an allograph. One short week after surgery, I crutched into the Spine and Rehab Specialists and met my Physical Therapist, Nancy Silva, and her team of assistants. I immediately felt like I was in competent and caring hands. My therapy was was tailored to meet my goals - very innovative. I always felt like Nancy and the whole staff was there to ensure that I not only met my goals, but exceeded them. There were days that I thought I couldn't complete the exercises that I was given, but that's when the staff "cheered me on" and inspired me to not only complete the exercises I was given, but I exceeded the number repetitions. I grew to look forward (sick, I know) to my sessions because with each session I was growing stronger and more confident. One of my first goals was to return to teaching fitness class. After injury I was told that would take at least 6 months!!! Well, with the help of the Spine & Rehab Specialists team, I'm proud to say that I was teaching my group cycle and Body Pump classes a mere 2 months later! That not only helped me physically, but was a tremendous boost mentally. My second goal was to return playing tennis. I love being out on the courts and the camaraderie of playing with my tennis team. I was told that this goal would take at least a year. Again, my Spine & Rehab Specialists team did not disappoint. 5 months later I was taking lessons, and 6 months later playing games with my team mates. In January, I will resume league play. WOOO HOOO!! I saw my orthopedist in November and he was simply amazed by my progress. He said it was a MASSIVE SUCCESS STORY . . . I contribute my success to a great surgeon, amazing and innovative Physical Therapist (NANCY SILVA) and a caring and committed therapy staff. Thank you Spine & Rehab Specialists!!

I enjoyed my time at Spine & Rehab, they're all extremely nice. I just want to thank them, they made my life a little better each visit. Thank you Nancy for all your help! I will really miss the visits!

When I first started here I could not get a decent nights sleep because the pain in my knees would wake me up. I had trouble going up stairs. And God forbid climbing ladders. But today I am able to walk around with little or no discomfort. I don't wake up in the middle of the night in pain!

I have been to 1 other therapist, they used machines but I didn't feel they accomplished anywhere near what the personnel here have. My physical therapist was very intelligent and guided everyone who worked with me. All the people I worked with were outstanding. I would recommend Spine & Rehab to anyone over and over.

My success with therapy for my lower back pain has been remarkable. First my therapist took the time to listen to me regarding my pain and when it does occur. He then walked me through different methods to assist me in relieving the pain with different stretches and then when the pain got better, the move into introducing different strengthening exercises to assist me in improving the area where the pain was. I wasn't sure I would have gotten to the point I am now but I am so happy that I was referred to Spine & Rehab and that I can leave pain-free. Thank you Eric and everyone at Spine & Rehab Specialists! You are all Rock-stars.

I came in with pain in my lower back and down my leg. Dr. Silva was instrumental not only in alleviating the pain, but showing me the best practices in several aspects of daily life in order to avoid further back issues. While I definitely was not the easiest patient to deal with, the patience, knowledge & professionalism of Dr. Silva (and the entire staff) are a large part of why I can even be discharged from PT & return to duty.

When I came to Spine & Rehab Specialists I had lower back injury with numbness down my right leg. I was prescribed medication, a back brace before I was referred to physical therapy. After going through treatment, I was able to go without medication and the back support by taking the exercises serious and do the exercises at homes when I felt a little pain coming on. Being a retired medic for the US Army, we are helping soldiers get back on the battlefield. Spine & Rehab Specialists help people get back to their lives. Their motto "We Have and Exercise for that." The staff of Spine & Rehab is very friendly and professional. Everybody knows your name like the old television show "Cheers." Be honest with your therapist so they can better assist you in your treatment and you will get stronger and fell better over a period of time. Thank you, Marina and the staff for all you do for the Military, men, women, and teenagers that come to your facility for treatment.

I would like to thank all the personnel at Spine & Rehab Specialists for helping me during this physical therapy process. Especially Ashley Wilson, my therapist. She was very understanding, patient, and would understand my English. Especially with my accent:) But I also want to thank Chris, Rene, Eddie, Steve.....sorry, but I don't know all the names of everyone else but I appreciate all the help. Thank you, thank you, thank you guys!!! If anyone ever needs to go to a physical therapist, of course I would highly recommend Spine & Rehab Specialists!

Since I've came to therapy I have had a great experience. The therapists here are excellent and well going. There was never a day when I left without smiling. In terms of basketball, I have developed a lot more strength since the injury. Back when it first happened, I couldn't go up for layups and it was hard to go up for a shot. Today, I feel like I came back to be the player I was before, thanks to the therapist and caring staff. Going to Spine and Rehab was the best choice!
