La Estancia Apartments

I can't wait till my contract is over! Management is rude & the employees never put in work orders I have been waiting for almost a month for maintenance to come and repair some stuff and still nothing. There hasn't been any hot water since October 30 & they have been shutting off the water whenever they feel like it with out giving us a notice in advance. Everything is painted over after a month of living here the paint started peeling off the restrooms sink and also off the bath tub! How disgusting is that!? There is Mold forming inside the restrooms and Guess what? Maintenance has not bothered to come by. The girl in the office with short hair said she was gonna put in the work order 3 times already in the past month and still nothing! Thank God our contract is over in 2 months! Can't wait to LEAVE from this place where all they care about is money but when they mess up there's nothing we can do about it! I hate this place so much! DONT MOVE IN HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT

Please read the negative reviews. I wish I would have before I moved into these apartments. Terrible money hungry management. While I lived at these apartments they would constantly shut down the water for repairs. They would email us and let us know they appreciate how understanding we are of the situation (I never complained once, I know things happen). But as soon as one of the La Estancia employees makes a mistake, then you're the one that ends up paying the price. The excuse for La Estancia was that this employee no longer works there and they should be held accountable. Now they have added debt to my family and hurt my families future by negatively affecting my credit score. Ironic that Integrity Asset Management runs it since they have zero integrity at this place...

I lived here for a year and i HATED EVERY DAY OF IT. If you want to know what its like to live here, ill tell you. First off, this is not a "gated community" as advertised. The majority of gates are left either open or you can drive through them with out the key card thingy. This allows all types of people to come in. You have people that have chihuahua license plates that go through the dumpsters early in the morning, drug dealers ( ive seen them selling drugs) and people attempting to steal cars. Friday and Saturday nights are loud so forget about sleeping. Make sure you take a tour of the appartment they are offering you. Half of the appartments where renovated and the other half are still stuck in the 70's(there have no light fixtures by the way, remember to bring your lamps!)FYI both types are the same amount of rent. They say they come to spray for insects, they dont. Also fees fees fees. New fee almost every month. Make sure you pay your rent on time. $10 every day your late plus a $75 late fee. Screw it if something major happened and you needed to dip into your rent money. They dont care. This place is HORRIFIC. Loud neighbors and even worse management.

This place is great if you have the money and patience to deal with them constantly asking for more more more! They want the deposit of $250, the application fee of $45, the prorated rate for rent which they told me was going to be $375 and then told me they calculated wrong and needed another $55. I paid all of that and now they are sayin they never got my money and if I don't give the $55 they will shut my utilities off! They call me at 11:30am while I'm at work and tell me I need to have the money there by noon or they will shut my utilities off. And the pet fees are ridiculous. $400 nonrefundable deposit per pet that can weigh no more than 50lbs and then $30 extra each month for each pet. For all the money they take from you, you'd think the place would be a little more updated.

This place deserves zero stars!!!! I've been here for 6 months and everyday if it's not one thing it's another! We moved in here because it supposedly had everything we were looking for. Once we moved in things have been happening, first week we got flooded and they came and fixed it and got flooded again!!! Then they made a big hole in the wall to fix the flooding and covered it with a piece of cardboard!!! Who does that?!?! Then there's is never parking and the "gated community" isn't so gated! Anyone can jus come into the apartment complex! When we moved in we were told the gym would open within a month, we've been here for 6 and still not opened! Also all the pools are closed due to remodeling!!! In the middle of summer and can't even use the pools! The apartments smell really bad especially when u turn on the air conditioning which also doesn't cool. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE WHAT SO EVER TO ANYONE, ESPECIALLY MILITARY!!! We will definitely not be renewing our lease here! Can't wait till it's all over!!! We have been really disappointed with this place from the beginning. Since the moment u sign that lease they stop caring about their residents, they are only interested in getting new tenants so they can make their money from the deposits!

This place is okay if you are just starting out.

I'm an army wife. Me and my husband just got married in April and moved in about 3 months ago. When we first got to the office everyone was so nice and friendly. One of the girls in the front told us about how we would never pay more than $90 for water, electricity, and waste. I was so excited because it was cheap and close to base. So we signed the lease confidently. Well the first month was great. Rent was low and we had no issues. Come the second month our patio got flooded because it rained so much. Long story short someone came and looked and said there was nothing they could do so every time it rains we are stuck with a swampy dirty mosquito infested patio. Then we get our utility bill and it was $150 for all utilities. My husband called the manager and she so rudely told us we signed a contract and it wasn't her fault that her employee lied to us. She did not even care to ask us who it was. We were lied to and did mot even recieve an apology. Now we have had two attempted break-ins and they (management) did not even care. We have people partying so loud till dawn, throwing rocks at our door, and on the weekends we've seen drunk little girls walking around yelling and laughing while we try to sleep. The cabinets are horrible. They painted over it so much that its hard to close and open them. All wooden things are like that. Its disgusting. there is mold under my sink too. The staff here is so rude. Nothing ever gets fixed. I'm starting to regret moving here.

NO STAR! This place is absolutely horrible! We're a young military family with 2 kids and this was our first apartment. We needed a place fast, this happened to be the first place we looked at and moved in the next day. The management is HORRIBLE! Maintenance will literally just walk into your house. I was in the shower, didn't hear them knocking and as I'm getting out of the shower I hear them downstairs. My front door was lock but they took it upon themselves to unlock it and invite themselves in. Of course, this is on the rare occasion they do actually show up when you make a report for something to be fixed. You pay too much to live here only to get screwed over in the end. DO NOT LIVE HERE!

This is a HORRIBLE place, and I will do my best to have you black listed from military. You are thoughtless thieves and lies. I go in and get told one thing and then when I come back get told a whole other thing. I have by talking to different people here you all lie about MANY things. Get a grip and start treating people with respect! Thanks a lot for a HORRIBLE year.

WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU PAY TOP DOLLAR TO LIVE IN THE SLUMS!!!!!

This is the worst place I have ever lived. And it's really sad, because they could have so much going for them, if the management took it seriously. The price is noce for the space you get, but not for the lack of care they take for this place. The security gates never work. Maitenence never fixes anything- ever. You have a problem with something, and thier solution is to come, look at it, and say they need to go find someting to fix it and never come back, but they mark it in the system as "cpmpleted". When you run into other resident they even tell you now horrible this place is.

We are miltary, and we needed a place fast. We literally moved in the next day after doing a walkthrough. I love that it's close to base, and everything else we need to get to. I just wish the people who worked here, cared about this place. Because you figure with 300+ units, they make quite a bit of $$$, and it's sad they fail to put it back into the property. And for that many units, they have as little as 3 people working in the office. Doesn't make much sense to me.

If you are MILITARY do not stay here!!! This place is about to get BLACK LISTED BY JAG. The management are liars and do not have respect for their clients. They will lie to you so you can rent at there appartments. As soon as you sign the lease they do not care about treating you with respect. My suggestion talk to the tenants that live in these apartments first and they will all tell you the same thing. Don't listen to any good coments about this place because I'll bet it's the management wrtting those good reviews.

I have been stationed at Ft. Bliss for the past 3 years and I have enjoyed every bit of my stay here at La Estancia. I have had two diffrent apartments here ( ... I eventually out grew my first apartment) and never have had a complaint. The office staff and maintenance were really courteous and helpfull. Especially, when I first got here and was completly lost. The location was so convinient. It's a really great place to live!!!

NO STAR!!!! I've never been treated this badly by anyone, the office staff and managment are horrible. Ive been without an a/c filter for 7 months and dust is filling my a/c unit. Nothing ever gets fixed without having to make multiple complants. MILITARY STAY AWAY because you are not welcomed here. We have found a knife in the swimming pool along with a drunk bum sleeping in the laundry room. This place isnt fit for rats to live in!

I am fairly new to the Ft. Bliss area & I have lived at La Estancia Apartments for 3 months now. I recieved excellent help over the phone from Krystal. She helped me lease my apartment while I was at Ft Campbell. She emailed me pictures and made the process as smooth as possible. My apartment was everything I was promised. I am very comfortable in my apartment & I absolutley love the location!!!

Everything has already been said about how awful this place is. I'm just adding the fire. I hate this place. It is the worst apartment I have ever lived in. I cannot wait to leave. I promise you, you can find a better place than this for the same price or better.

If I could leave all the stars blank, I would.

This is the most disgusting place I have ever lived in my life. The management are SO rude, do not care about you at all, and are not professional in the least bit. When my husband and I (I was 7 months pregnant when we moved in) first looked at the apartment, they showed us a really nice looking townhouse. We decided to move in, and they moved us into a completely different townhouse. As we were moving in, we noticed under the kitchen sink that there was black mold. We told the office numourous times and after I had already had my son and he was 2 months old, they finally came in and PAINTED OVER THE MOLD. Once we discovered that this had happened, we continued to complain to the office verbally and with hand written statements saying what was wrong with our townhouse, and we even did not pay them their rent for a month. 3 months after that they came back and finally pulled up the bottom of the sink where even the maintanence man was disturbed by how much mold was underneath our kitchen sink.

We got a family dog, a small chihuahua, and told the office the day we got the dog, that we were waiting until payday to pay the deposit for this dog. They said okay. About 4 days later they came in our apartment to do "Annual apartment walkthroughs" (while we were not at home.) and left a note on our door saying that we owed them about $1000 for having the chihuahua ever since we first moved into the apartment. Of course my husband raised hell and told them that we wanted to get the hell out of there. They then, tried to charge us a little over $5,000 to break our lease, note we only have 3 more months left at these apartments.

Our downstairs neighbors had they apartment flood, twice, and both times they vaccumed up the water from the carpet, took the carpet out, acted as if while they were at work they were going to replace the carpet, and put the same exact carpet back into their house. Unexceptable!!! In the middle of the night we had a man come up to our door, say "Call the cops, i'm about to murder this guy." and another guy run up to my husband, myself and my son while we were walking back to our townhouse and say "Hey guys I don't know who this guy following me is, but if he asks I do not have a gun..okay" It is not a safe place, for anyone.

we were living there and after being there for 6 months and me and my daughter were staying sick and my dog started acting weird we started noticing that what i thought was just dust developing on some of the vents actually was black mold and we had gone to them several times about it and when they finally did come to "fix" it the manager was in my apartment taking pictures and moving my stuff around saying that my house was disgusting and trying to place the blame on me and my family and my 2 year old daughter had toys all over the place and we are dealing with the coloring on the wall stage and so my house was filthy and we were constantly getting more and more charges our utilities which they told us usually the bills are not over 100 and the bills have been reaching over 150 since we have left they try to place blame on anyone but them and also if you start having problems with them and go to someone for legal help they will say that they talked to the same people and that we are making things up and that they did not tell us that so do not let them have any info on anything they will get worse however as for military do not move here and if you already are start looking for a new place to live because they are working on putting them on the blacklist as soon as possible jag hates dealing with these apartments

DO NOT MOVE IN HERE.

Horrible management:

-never come to repair things

-try to charge u for any little thing

-gates never work

-the staff in the front office is super rude

-there is not security

I wouldn't even give them a rating of a star that is how bad it is!

Strange people commonly rouge through the trash.



Some occupants have more than 2 dogs and they leave them on their balcony or patio all day and night and they bark and howl all day and night, commonly keeping my family awake all night.



The management is not approachable and extremely rude.



My apartment is commonly entered by workers without my consent, and my 16 year old daughter being frighten out of her wits when she is here alone (she hid in the closet).



I have never seen any security, but the contract states that security is present, plus the gates don’t work.



Unfortunately I am in a contract that is about 60 percent accurate.



Please review the contract and walk the complex and see the deficiencies for yourself.
