Went here to get my AC checked. First off the man at front desk knows nothing about customer service. Drop off my truck and nearly 5 hours later I decide to call to see what’s going on. No answer. I show up to see my truck hadn’t been touched. The man has a attitude like it is what it is... we are busy. So they had my truck 5 hours and couldn’t even check it. Imagine if they had to work on it. They would have had my truck for days. Do not take your vehicle here!!!

I went to aamco to get information on replacing my transmission and checking if the cause of the issue was electrical as well..man at front desk does not know nothing about customer service.very rude.even if the expertise is great from this location as people mention on previous posts, customer service is what sells me...

Aamco was suggested to me by another repair shop that did not specialize in transmission repair. I set my expectations based on calls to several shops around town. I got quotes from $1850 to $2350 for a transmission rebuild. Aamco offered me another option, a Remanufactured unit from the Aamco Transmission factory for $2399 installed with a 3 year unlimited mile nationwide warranty. So basically I got a new transmission with a 2 year longer warranty for only $50 more. The local shops only wanted to give me a 1 year local warranty. I feel good about the choice I made because I travel a lot. The repair took 4 days which I thought was reasonable for a major repair job. The car works like new again so I am happy. The staff was very nice also.

I took my Ford Taurus in with an overheating problem on a Saturday morning and I really needed my car for the weekend. They took the time to go locate a radiator fan assembly and stayed late to install it. This was my first visit to aamco and I would have to rate it a 5 star experience. Nice clean waiting area with free Wi-Fi also. Price charge was very fair.

Having serious transmission issues I took my 2007 VW jetta to the dealership and got a an estimate for a new transmission basically for 5800.00 (crazy) I called a few other places Aamco being one and everyone wanted to charge me to look at it except Aamco not only did he not charge to inspect but he offered FREE towing to his shop on lomaland so I took my car over and after Brandon explained the process and what if scenarios I felt at ease.. I did however have to spend serious cash for a new transmission 4300.00 but I blame myself for buying a Jetta!!! All and all was a gut wrenching experience have to replace a transmission for that price but I would definitely take all my cars to AAmco on lomaland

I took my 2007 Chevy to EP Trans after Aamco tried to tell me I needed an entirely new transmission ( without even driving it) and Tim, came out hooked up the diag and test drove it with me explaining what all the codes meant and how to fix it. It turned out to be a simple misfire and only a couple hundred to fix including getting the oil changed. I would recommend this place to anyone. They actually care about their clients pocket book and vehicle. Kudos to my new mechanic :)
