Sushi O

The best sushi place!!! My gf and I came here randomly bc it was on our way to the movies. She's a vegetarian and they knew enough from her order not to put eel sauce on her sushi even though she hadn't mentioned it. Excellent food and definitely excellent service!!!

This mini restaurant has a great and very relaxing atmosphere. The staff is friendly, especially Lily. They have fresh sushi, and seafood. And the prices are very reasonable.

As good as any Manhattan Japanese/Asian fusion restaurant, Sushi/ Sashimi is very fresh. My wife loved the Chilean seabass. Wait staff is excellent and friendly, relaxing and elegant atmosphere, the price is reasonable also. We've gone a couple of times since finding them three weeks ago, and will make it one of our regular restaurants.

you guys were right, i was searching up some restaurants for my friends to have a girls night out. i saw the following reviews & was impressed by the positive feedbacks. my gals & i went to SushiO that following night & after reading that review about BYOB, we brought along some red wine. Of course going to a restaurant called 'SushiO' we prepared ourselves for a sushi FEAST. :) when we got to the restaurant, it was TRUELY AMAZING. the outside was a bit normal, nothing exciting but the inside was beautiful, the lighting left me speechless. The staff was really nice & gave attentive service.We ordered the Orange Dragon and Samurai Roll- because the server recommeneded it for it had special pricing; it was less than 10$!! After we ordered Lobster King Roll & Passion Roll, it was really something, the taste was unique. We also tried the Spicy tuna Pizza appetizer, phenomenal! I really recommend!! ~im planning to go back for the chilean sea bass!! (:

Same owners as the old Otaya Express - I went there last night and was blown away! They did a great job with decor - and the food, I think even BETTER. I felt like I was in Hoboken or NYC without the high prices. Really great place to have a night out if you want to stay local but feel like you're in the city. Only negative, if it can be looked as one - is that it's a BYOB. Other than that, I was well impressed!

wow.. this has to be one of most well done places in the edison area and the food is really good too. Definitely going to come back again

This newly opened place probably has the best ambience and service of all the sushi/japanese restaurant in the edison metuchen area. You can clearly see that the owners of the restaurants have put a lot of effort into the space. A very stylish contemporary decor. Add a great selection of sushi with very fresh ingredients and you have a very solid restaurant that is must go to.
