Amycakes

Ordered cake and paid for it in full before delivery. When cake was delivered it was not what was ordered and promised. Cakes look pretty on website but when delivered they are dry and not as requested. She gets her money upfront through cash app. When I got home and looked at the cake I called her. She would not pick up the phone nor called back in regards to the voice mail that was left. I would not recommend buying her cakes. Her cakes are expensive but are not worth the money. No apology or returned call for bad service.

What a disappointment! We had AmyCakes make our wedding cake and it was a complete mess. Two days prior to the wedding she called to let me know her oven had broken, but everything would be ok. She asked if we minded if she put a thin layer of fondant on the cake to help it since she could not let it set for a few days (we had asked for the cake to be iced in buttercream in our contract). We agreed and she assured us the cake would be great. The day of the wedding the cake was supposed to arrive at 12pm, but did not show up until 2:45—the wedding began at 3pm!! At first the cake was beautiful, but over time it began to lean to one side. As the cake was being cut it began to fall apart, literally into crumbs. There was a ¼ inch layer of fondant on the cake that made it chewy and nasty. The chocolate layer of the cake was not cooked and collapsed into a pile of mush. It was so bad that the servers took the chocolate layer away as it was not edible. The other pieces of cake were served to our guests as piles of crumbs with thick layers of fondant. After the wedding friends commented on the cake and how poorly made it was. We contact AmyCakes regarding this and she took no responsibility for ruining our wedding cake. I would highly advise you not to use AmyCakes for any occasion!
