R and A Roofing and Remodeling

Good people... I talked to the owners wife at the filling station about my leak. The next day he came and repaired the spots. He gave me an estimate of the entire roof. It is not in the budget as I am replacing windows right now but I would use them and recommend them.

I called on 5-29 and spoke with a woman regarding the services done ...at our home on May 10th. The worker came, we put the dog outside, on the OTHER side of the house, so he could work in peace, and when we looked up, the worker had left, and left the bag of trash retrieved from ONE SIDE of the gutter on the side walk in front of our house. Not only were we home (that's the excuse the woman gave me, that he said we weren't home, and the dogs would prevent him from completing the gutter cleaning), but we did that FOR him, and expected him to let us know when he was going to the other side, so we could yet again make him comfortable and move the dogs to a different location. So on 5-29 the woman said she'd talk to the worker and call me back. I never received a call back. I called again several more times for the next month. Finally, on 7-14 I called again and she said maybe it was best we get a refund, since he wouldn't be available to come back to finish the work he started in May, for over 2 weeks. I agreed and we hung up. As of today, 7-18, we have not received a call back. This morning i left yet ANOTHER voicemail, and when I hadn't heard back after lunch, I called again, from my work phone. The call went IMMEDIATELY to voicemail. So, I called from my personal cell and it was picked up, and hung up before I could say a word. I was confused, and called back. This time it was answered. When I asked if I could speak with someone from R & A Roofing, I was hung up on. I called back, hoping for a bad signal. It went immediately to voicemail. I sent a text stating my reason for calling (since voicemails don't get returned), but with the track record this company has had with us, I’m not hopeful. This is THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I do not know this company is staying in business if this is how you do things. We simply want our 85.00 refunded so the nightmare we're having with you can be over and we can get our gutters cleaned by a trustworthy and reliable company. My next steps are the BBB and starting to review you poorly online, as no customer should be treated this way. What's TRUELY owed to us is 85.00 plus the interest for you keeping it for over a month and a half - I’m simply wanting what we gave you, BACK. The service wasn't performed, why should you keep the money?
