I’ve been going here for over 6 years and I love the atmosphere, service and professionalism. Everyone who works here is very nice, accommodating and does excellent work. The owner Oumy is AMAZING! She goes out of her way to make sure every customer is completely satisfied. I normally book my appointment days in advance but there’s been a couple of times I needed same day service and was able to get in. Oumy is passionate about her work and her business and it shows with every client who allows this business to service their hair braiding needs!!!!!

I just had my hair braided this past Memorial Day and have gotten nothing but compliments from my co-workers and friends. Two of my friends are getting their hair braided this weekend, I was very impressed with the customer service experience and how quickly they braided my hair. I am definitely a life time customer!!

Just recently got my hair done. I called the same day and was able to get a same day appointment in less than an 1hour. My hair started around 9:30 AM and I was done by 1PM. I was surprised of how fast it was. But it's really nice. They were all very professional and friendly. The location isn't hard to find and it's kept well clean. The price are reasonable, after all you do get to keep them for months. Thank you Ummi ��������

Had another positive experience today at SuperStar African Hair Braiding & with Oumy Braids & Dyee. I went for a touch up, appointment at 9am and was completely done at 10:55. I appreciate the customer service provided by Oumy & her staff, she makes the atmosphere personable & comfortable and to me that's high on my list as I'm BIG on customer service. As I stated before I travel a distance to patronize her business and I HATE driving....lol but it's definitely worth it. See u ladies soon

I received awesome service today when I went as a walk in to get my hair done at 9 pm they had me out by 12 washed my hair and everything I was super tired because I just got off work so I kept nodding off they were not rude and nasty they simply tapped my shoulder fast friendly service highly recommended neat work *about a week in all of my twist are falling out

So I actually got my hair done Saturday in the seengalees twist and it looks amazing, I arrived around 6pm and was in a braiders chair within 15min. I was done in a flash... I have a real tender scalp and these ladies did a phenomenal job keeping it as painless as possible., I was able to sleep comfortably the night of insertion and my hair follicles are still intact. No shedding at all post braiding, no extra fee for hair and my hair is beautiful. From here on out I will have my braids or twist done at SyperStar African Hair Braiding because the insertion technique is tight but pain free... I will definitely be back.



The shop is warm and the associates are friendly and professional and they all deliver detailed beautiful styles but I expected such because the owner is super sweet and pays close attention to detail.

I got Senegalese twist done yesterday and I absolutely love them. I've been here several times before and they always do a great job. Ladies I highly recommend trying them out you will not be disappointed.

I am so pleased by the work ethics and ability that these ladies provide! Friendly service competitive pricing and styles to die for!!! My braids lasted a long time and I received compliments daily on my hair... Not only do I love the fact that I felt like a superstar but everyone else thought i looked like one also... I would recommend Oumy and her crew for all your braiding needs.... over and over again

These young ladies are true masters of their craft; they are precise, courteous, friendly and really know their stuff. This was my first time here at this shop but it won't be my last. The staff was wonderful and the service was excellent. And these wonderful ladies fitted me in on a Saturday at the last Mon. What more could I ask for.

Wonderful! Haven't stopped getting compliments! I had taken some braids out of my hair that the previous shop put in, parts of my hair was damaged and I had dreadlocks I needed emergency help. I found Superstar African Hair Braiding and she solved the problem. She was pleasant, assured me that I was in good hands, made me feel very comfortable. She laid my hair out. I was beautiful when she got done with me. She was fast and I got the works and she is reasonably priced. I recommend any one to sit in her chair and you will be amazed at the results. I been getting my hair braided by Touba African Hair Braiding since 1999, and I always loved my hair each time. I also like how quick it is to get an appointment and that it does not take all day to get my hair braided. I will definitely return and recommend her to all of my friends!

I admit, I was expecting a business front instead of a house. But I was very satisfied. The basement is set up very professionally & all of the ladies are very friendly. I like that they did not braid my edges! Still, the braids were tight, which is excellent! I left my cornrows in for 1 month and the older they got, the better they looked. I will continue to use their services. My style only took 45 minutes :)

I was very impressed with Superstar Hair Braiding. I normally go to the hair salon to get my hair done but I read the reviews on Superstar Hair Braiding and I was very impressed. I decided to go to the owners home to get my hair done and her staff was very professional. Her basement was fully equipped, like a salon, and was a very neat, clean, and enjoyable atmosphere. I went to get tree braids in my hair and was very pleased with the end result. It was very full, something I normally had issues with, and easy to maintain. The prices were very reasonable as well! I would assure anybody, I am a hard person to please, especially when it comes to my hair, and Superstar hair braiding has fully satisfied me with excellent service, great professionalism, and an incredible end product. I would recommend this business to anybody.

This was an amazing hair braiding experience. I was a bit skeptical about it being done in her home but it was so clean and well put together, a lot better than any shop I've been to. Oumi and her sister completed my to the waist box braids in under 4 hours. She is so professional and efficient. My hair has never looked this good in braids!my edges are intact and they are flawless. She even trimmed the stray hairs and made sure I knew exactly what products to use to preserve my box braids. She acknowledged the $10 off coupon I printed from here but I still gave her full price because the service was amazing! Highly recommended!
