saw these guys on offer up. I messaged mike and he replied quickly. I thought it would be funny business because of what happens online and Craigslist... but I came in and check out what they had. they let me take my time. I went got my mechanic to be safe and he was impressed by the car. I drove it home same day. knock on wood, no issues yet just did an oil change last week. im happy with their services and cars.

Plz be aware of this place .I bought vehicle in Jan .I only had it 4 months ! the trans went , I paid 10000 dollars! .I always bought used vehicles before but never in my life got screwed like this!! Be leary of this place .I wished i was warned .!!!.I contacted my problem mike never called me back .Be aware!!!

i got a car for my daughter last week. her first car. nothing fancy. mike recommended a ford Taurus. so we settled on the 2005. he had a few to choose from but it seems we got the most bang for the buck for this one. we're happy with the car and happy with the service Mike provided. I would recommend this place to a friend.

I found some parts listed on craigslist for a 06 Grand Prix. Originally ad said engine and trans was free just come and get it due to the accident being severe. Contacted them and now it was a 100.00 dollars for the engine. Went to pick up and he wanted 50.00 extra dollars foe the tranny. Offered 30.00 and he accepted, After I got it home and looked at closer I found the engine was missing the fuel rails, injectors and throttle body plus some other parts. Also the transmission had a hole punched through the casing. I am to blame as well for not looking closer but shame on them for doing business that way. Just make sire you know what you're getting before you buy.

hello. I came to this used car lot about a year ago since they had a large selection and I was looking for 2 cars, one for me and one for my son. Mike helped us find the right car for him to go back and forth to school and work and I knew what I wanted before I walked in. I talked him down off hes asking prices and negotiated a 1 year warranty on both vehicles. we just did regular maintenance on these cars like oil changes new tires on 1 of them and so on. overall, a year later were still happy with these cars. my son is looking to upgrade hes car soon, so I know where we are going.

I needed a motor for my car and I was unaware they do motor work and Big mechanic jobs. I was with a friend who was picking up her plates from them and though id ask and im glad I did! they Beat my previous estimate and offered FREE towing. picked up my car the next day and got it ready in 2 days! Gave me a warranty on the work. Im happy I came across these guys. true 5 stars! thanks

I came to this Business this year and bought a car with my Tax money. I waited long for the tax refund and once I got it I came to five star auto center because a friend of mine referred me to them and she said she loves her car. I was scared to spend all my tax money on a car but I NEEDED a car and Mike helped me find the right car and gave me a discount on the car and took care of all the paper work. I wanted 3 month before I left reviews to make sure everything was good. ( I dint want to jinx it) lol. Im overall happy with my car and I would recommend this business to my friends.

I recently purchased a 2003 Ford Taurus, and I love it! Everything is good overall, and I bought it for a great price. The representative that I worked with was nice and helped me pick the right car. He also gave me a three month warranty. I would recommend this place to anyone that is interested in buying a vehicle.

Jan 30 2012 I got a 2000 bonneville from five star auto for 3,270 I have had to have my transmission re done 3 different time which I paid an extra 600 dollars for. After only have the car less then 24 hours my car would not move. :( so there for I paid to pay a transmission flushed there told us the day I got the car they would do an oil change and change my battery never got my oil changeand yes the put a battery in my car the wrong size and type I am the mother of 3 small kids and after I taking my car else where to get the battery replaced I was told thtof I had it in my car an longer it would have explored :( it is now oct remember I paid 3,270 for my car I have paid well 1500 in repairs and still not done...but not all is bad mike was a nice person in all and so was his father they did at least help pay for the transmission so in all of you but a car from there take someone with you who knows about cars.

I personally disagree with Laurie, Five star auto center has been the best place to shop for cars, I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee from them last year, I love my truck, it ran smooth and nothing was going on with it. Before picking up the car they inspected every little thing on it, they were honest and helpful. Since I felt like I could trust them I went in couple weeks ago and traded in my jeep for another car I have been wanting for a while. Their window prices are never final, they are always open to negotiation. Will be going there this weekend to buy a third car from them for my son who is going away to college. Mike and his dad were very friendly, they took care of everything, all I had to do was get in and drive. I highly recommend Five star auto center.

I bought my ford fusion from this lot a while back... its been serving me GREAT! I just had to oil change it as I went and I have not had ANY issues with it! Gets me great MPG like the salesman told me.. I also got a great price on it!! I have sent 3 of my friends there and received a GIFT for each one of them that got a car! :-D they are all happy with their cars... I will recommend this business to anyone looking for a nice car at a MORE THAN FAIR price!

January 13, 2012 I brought a 2002 Pontiac Aztec from Five Star Auto Center located at 7761 Greenfield in Detroit Michigan. The SUV cost me $3,600 and the vehicle started falling apart the day after I brought it. The first thing I noticed was the brakes were bad. I went back to the dealer and they told me it wasn’t the brakes; it was the rotors. They wanted me to pay them for the repair, but I refused because I had only had the car one day. From that point on, I made one discovery after the next of the multitude of defects held inside my pre-owned car. The housing in the transmission was bad. Again they did not repair this. I had to pay to have it repaired at my own mechanic. It has electrical problems that would cost an arm and a leg to repair along with a host of other troubles. Now the motor has gone out and the car is inoperable. Five Star Auto Center wants to charge me to put a new engine in the car even though I have only had it one month. I tried to resolve this issue without investing more money with them. However, the company wants to change for the repairs, but I refuse to give them another dollar of my money when the vehicle started falling apart the very next day. It is highly unlikely that they were unaware of all the vehicles problems. It is unfortunate and unfair that consumers who spend their hard earned money must contend with business such as this one who refuses to take full responsibility for their product and do the right thing. Five Star Auto Center lacks customer service, operates unethically, are not reputable and should not be able to sell to the public. Please people stay on high alert. Do not venture into this establishment.
