Davis & Davis Dentistry

This was my worst experience at a dentist in 35 years. The equipment at this facility is so outdated. When I first got there the dentist and the office person was trying to figure out how to write up paperwork for insurance to approve something. When I first called to make appointment they wanted a credit card to keep on file which I refused. They asked again when I arrived for my appointment and again after, but I wouldn’t let them keep a credit card on file. Never have been asked this by a dentist before and don’t think it is needed.

I was a new patient and wanted a cleaning. The dentist does everything at it his him and the office person only. He took 3 X-rays and then said “that should be good enough for today”. I was never given protective glasses to wear and when he did the cleaning liquid were flying in my face and in my eye. I had to hold my own toothpaste to make it easier on him. He doesn’t have a suction tube to spit in like every other place that I have been to. You get a little cup of water and have a mini sink next to you to spit in. There was no scrapping of the teeth like I have had every where else. He used toothpaste on me twice and that was it. I never got to see the X-rays that were taken either.

Upon leaving I was asked to put my name and address on a post card. This way they can mail it to me in 6 months as a reminder to call them to make my next appointment. Most places schedule your next appointment right away. Also not sure why I had to fill out the card when they have all of my information already anyways.

I do not recommend this place to anyone. I do a better cleaning of my teeth on a daily basis then this place did. Not sure I would call them a dentist.
