Founded in 1969, Del-Co Water Company is a nonprofit corporation that provides drinking water and related services for individuals and businesses. It is one of the largest rural water systems in Ohio. The corporation operates various water treatment plants, including Olentangy Water Treatment Plant, Ralph E. Scott Water Treatment Plant, Thomas E. Steward Water Treatment Plant and Timothy F. McNamara Water Treatment Plant. It offers engineering, water availability checking, reviewing, backflow prevention and consulting services. The corporation additionally provides water meter installation, inspection, billing and 24-hour emergency services. Del-Co Water Company is a member of the National Rural Water Association and the American Water Works Association.
