1 Decatur Pro Auto Repair

I took my car to this shop in march they had it for 1 month glad I had maintenance insurance the job done was 2,000 but it was well worth it I must say that my car is running better than ever I love it and the guys are great thanks Steve.

I took my 04 Ford Mustang here to service my check engine light back on March 7, 2015 in which they charge me $180.63 to repair to replace oxygen sensor bank. They also advised me of other items needing repair and gave me a quote. Two days later the light is back on and Bill the Manager advises me to bring it back and they will reset it. I return on March 14th to have them reset the check engine light and also remove and replace power steering pressure and return hose which came to $239.43. Two days later the check engine light is back on and Bill tells me to bring it back. I return on March 21st to have them mount, align and replace x4 tires, remove and replace front crankshaft seal and reset check engine light yet again which came to $673.38. Lord and behold after one day the check engine light is on again so I return on March 26 and Bill advises me that the part they used was "suppose" to be compatible for my car and they will have to order a new part. On March 28th the work done on my power steering started making noise, so I call Bill yet again and he advised me to bring the car back. I return on April 1st in which power steering fluid leak-hose was recheck and a small leak was repair with stop Leak and oxygen sensor bank replaced with no extra charge to me. On April 2nd I sent in a notice that the shop had fixed my issue and the BBB can close out my complaint.



On Tuesday May 5th I leave my mustang with Fire Stone Complete Auto Care off N Druid Hills in Atlanta Georgia repair my clutch and I picked it up on Wednesday May 6th however the Service Manager made notes that I have an oil leak, exhaust leak and due to previous work done on oxygen sensors/catalytic converters some bolts are missing. Therefore I would like to open my complaint back up on this company, I contacted Bill on Thursday May 7th the service Manager at #1 Decatur Pro Auto demanding $575.11 back to me in seven business days. He advised me the owner is in Australia and he will contact me on Monday May 11th to discuss further. Seven business days from Monday May 11th I will be taking this company to small claims court if I do not receive the above mentioned refund.

This place is a joke! I was charged for a part that was never put on my car. Told to save the replace part and they brought me the same part. When I confronted about work done on car he changed his story and lowered labor price $100, Still had to pay $150 for no work done to car at all.
