Working with Bellbrook Fence was a very good experience. I had them install a gate across my driveway. Their customer service was fantastic. It took them forever to get to my house since they were pretty booked for the summer. But once it was my turn they did the work in a couple hours and even repaired a small part of my fence so my dogs wouldn't get out. The installation guys were very nice and went above and beyond. It turned out exactly how I asked and what I needed.

We contracted Bellbrook Fence to remove our old wooden fence and install a new Bufftech CertainTeed CertaGrain fence. We have 348 linear feet of fence, consisting of one single gate and one double gate. The initial consultation was on May 5, 2015, and I sent the signed contract for them to do the job on May 8th. The total cost was $20,812.88. After several more weeks passed than what we were told, and serious lack of communication to inform us of any delays, they finally started the job on June 30th. The job was supposed to take 2-3 days to complete as per an e-mail and verbal confirmation from the salesperson. The crew slacked off as they only worked partial days even though the weather cooperated. The job ended up taking NINE days. After a thorough inspection, the job was done horribly. There were gaps everywhere, two posts weren't aligned correctly, there were missing and broken pieces, and the gates were uneven. After many calls I had to make to the office manager for the lack of communication on their part, I ended up having to call her again to tell her how everything looked and that I needed to speak to the owner. After the promise was broken of the owner, Jeff Bell, calling me the following business day, I ended up having to call again. When I finally got him on the phone, he gave me a sob story of how so many things were going on and the job we had them do was just so large and they couldn't get everything done on time. I told him I wasn't listening to excuses and the fence needed to be fixed. A week later, he grudgingly came out with the crew and they ended up spending THREE entire days rebuilding the fence. After another inspection, everything finally seemed to be okay. After a couple months passed, I noticed the post holding the main gate was sagging. I called on September 16th with no answer. I left a message, but no response. I ended up calling again later the following day. After explaining the issue, the office manager claimed she would get back to me to schedule a time for someone to fix it. Almost three weeks went by without a call. I called on October 6th and left a message. On October 7th, I called and got her on the phone. She started to tell me of her personal problems and how they have caused her to not call me. At that point, I was having deja vu of all the past issues with them and their tactics. I ended up telling her I was going to deal with this matter in another fashion and I hung up. Minutes later, Jeff calls. He began yelling at me and didn't care at all about my post. I told him I wasn't going to deal with the owner of a business behaving in such an immature and unethical manner and I ended the conversation. I called Bufftech, and got a hold of the area representative. After explaining the situation, he offered to visit my home to assess everything. He agreed that the post needed to be reset, and it appeared there wasn't enough concrete poured into the hole. I told him I wanted another dealer to take care of it. After he asked his other area dealers, he said no one wanted to touch it due to not being the installing dealer. He said he would call Bellbrook Fence to talk about it. Jeff Bell refused to own up to their poor workmanship and honor their warranty. I ended up having to file a complaint with the BBB, which I recommend anyone to check out. After such a runaround with these people, the post was finally repaired 4 months after my initial call about it. The only reason they fixed it at all was because of my BBB complaint and my telling them I would pursue legal action. Jeff Bell was handed this business to him by his grandfather and has no idea how to operate a business properly. He is simply riding the coattails and gives no regard to his customers who are paying good money. The people at Bellbrook Fence clearly have no desire to do business properly, and just want to ride off into the sunset without any credibility. I highly recommend you DO NOT do business with this company.

The only reason they fixed it at all was because of my BBB complaint and my telling them I would pursue legal action. Jeff Bell was handed this business to him by his grandfather and has no idea how to operate a business properly. He is simply riding the coattails and gives no regard to his customers who are paying good money. The people at Bellbrook Fence clearly have no desire to do business properly, and just want to ride off into the sunset without any credibility. Bellbrook fence recently insta...

Bellbrook fence recently installed a new wooden privacy fence for my wife and I. They took care of everything including the permits, locations of buried electric and phone wires, and cleaned up like they were never here! The wood they used was beautiful and of much better quality than the samples I saw from a couple of other fence companies.



I would Highly recommend them. We had a great experience from start to finish.

I just had an ornamental aluminum fence installed at my home in Beavercreek. Bellbrook fence was very easy to work with. Their installers were very professional and even made a change for me in the middle of the job. I would highly recommend them!

Great company - Highly recommended!

I contacted this company because a friend referred me. They came out and did an estimate for a ornamental aluminum fence for my yard. Mr. Bell was very knowledgeable and friendly in an area in which I did not know anything but how I wanted it to look. The estimate was better than any other company that called and they did not charge for the estimate like some other companies. They set a quick installation date and completed the job very fast (of course the weather was cooperating). I would definitely call them again!

Attentive at first, but ...

This past March ('08), the storms that rolled through the Dayton area did quite a number on my fence.

I called several companies and requested estimates from three. The company rep arrived to our appointment on time and put together a very reasonable estimate.

I eventually requested Bellbrook Fence to do the required work and was told that they had about a two-week wait to start a new job. When the expected week for the work to start came and went without so much as a phone call, I attempted to make contact ... my calls were never returned and I have now had to resort to hiring another company.
