Rik Tatum Salon is absolutely the BEST!!! I moved to Keller in 2006 after living in West Texas for over 20 years. We knew no one. While shopping at the Galleria I saw a girl that had the cutest haircut and phenomenal color. She recommended Rik Tatum Salon. I've been going there for more than 5 years now. We moved to Austin last year and I make a special trip to Dallas once a month just to gave Rik and Heather do my hair. Rik is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. He colors my hair ( but is also great cutting and styling ). Heather, who is Riks wife cuts and styles my hair. She takes special care to make sure everything is perfect before letting you leave. My hair is so shinny and in great condition. They use only the best products!! They are so much fun to be around and are very hip on all the new styles and colors. Whether it's a cold beer or a glass of wine after a long day or a piece of pizza on a Saturday,... The service is always a treat. I will continue to make the 3 hour drive from Austin for them to do my hair !!! It's so worth it. Call ahead and make an appointment. Because they are sooo good they have a lot of customers who LOVE them --- like me!!! They also have the cutest saloon Mascot. Make sure they introduce you to Haskell!!!

Service, skill level, atmosphere, attitude are all impeccable.. I recommend Rik Tatum Salon to everyone.. Honestly, I've been treated like family since my first visit..

I recently opted to fire my hair stylist when she failed to honor my requests for the LAST TIME. (I even brought in a freaking picture for the girl!) Which brought me to try out Rik Tatum Salon and I am happy to report that I have struck gold!!! I have finally tracked down stylists that actually DO WHAT YOU ASK THEM TO DO!!! Insane, I know! Not only did I leave with the cut that I had asked for (again, brought in the picture and stylist Heather did it to a "T"), but the color is perfection (Rik is a color master!). Cheers to hair folks that A.) know what they are doing and B.) honor your wishes and understand what you are looking for!!

I have been a customer of Rik & Heather's for several years now and they are simply the best! Not only are they fantastic at what they do, they are hilarious in action! They are a dynamic duo who should take their show on the road. I always look forward to my appointment not only because I am getting the best cut & color in town, but I always look forward to the compliments i receive when i walk out of there! Theyare the best of the best hair designers I have ever used. Rick has been doing my color for over ten years and there is no one better. Heather is excellent at hair cutting. There is no one better in dallas. I recommend them 100%.

I have been to quite a few hair salons in the Dallas area over the years, but rarely do I find consistently reliable and friendly, non-stuffy service! They are ready at your scheduled appointment time, and if there may be any conflicts in scheduling they give you plenty of notice, as well as work with you if you are in a bind.



Rik does an excellent job in coloring my hair as I specify, as does Heather with cutting my hair. I get lots of compliments and enjoy the donuts and champagne mimosas on the weekends!! They are a joy!!

I have been going to Rik (color) and Heather (cut) for longer than I can remember...10 years maybe. Their salon has the most wonderful energy - fun, sincere, client focused. Rik has kept me at just the right shade of blonde for whatever the season (and recently added a Brazilian Blowout that is incredible!!!) and Heather has taken me from a short bob through to way long (the latter preferred). They are both extremely professional in their approach to ensuring that you walk out with the best look of your life, brought on my their work and their fabulous collaborative energy.

Every since I have been going to Rik Tatum I have had tons of compliments on both my cut and color. Not only will you leave with cute hair, you will have a great time while you are there. Rik and Heather are great.

I have been a patron of Rik Tatum salon for 5 years. Rik highlights my hair and Heather cuts it. You won't find better in the metroplex!!! I always always get compliments on my hair color and cut. Not only are they fantastic at their craft, but over the years we have become great friends!! Not only do I enjoy going to my appts to get a new look, but I also have a blast while at the salon. They are truly good people and have the customer's wants and desires first. They are fantastic and I would highly recommend them to anyone. My mother lives in New Orleans and visits every few months...when she is here, we always make a trip to the salon for her as well! She loves them too and so will you!!

I have been going to Rik and Heather for 10 years. These two are the perfect fit together. Rik colors my hair (great creativity) and Heather cuts it. I have had the same style and can't seem to change it because of the compliments on the color and cut. Why change a good thing!! I recommend this team because if you need a change in style or just want to fix what you already have, they will take the best care of you and you will walk out with a smile. :-)

Rik & Heather are the Nicest people in town... They are Professional and Fun at the same time (good luck finding that anywhere else) My family has been using them for seveal years now and we have had nothing but Great Color, and Great cuts! Thanks guys, keep it it up!

I always knew my hair could be more beautiful. More bold. More ... ME! Rik helped me get the hair I always wanted. From Day 1, he and Heather (the owners) have made me feel like a favorite customer, like a good friend. They're always professional, always courteous, always fun (and funny!). Rik and Heather (the owners) are two of the most amazing people I've ever met!!! They are very customer service oriented and I always walk out of there with amazing hair. The atmosphere at the Salon is positive, energetic and fun. If your looking for a great place to get color and/or cut this is the place to go. It's by far the best place in Dallas to get your hair did!!!!

New salon in hip area offered a great experience. I had a small wait (about 5 minutes) but well worth it.
