Eczema
Eczema is a condition that leaves a red, scaly rash when the skin comes into contact with an allergen. It can present in many forms, anywhere on the body, and is one of the most common skin conditions we treat at Dermatology Center of Northwest Houston. Lesions
The Lumenis Photofractional treatment is a complete skin-rejuvenation solution, enabling us to offer you remarkable results a range of skin concerns such as age and sunspots, vascular lesions, uneven texture and skin tone. Our unique rejuvenation technology includes two solutions IPL (Intense Pulse Light) and ResurFX non-ablative skin resurfacing, so both skin tone and texture can be treated at the same session.

As an undergraduate, Chelsea studied at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition Science. Her expertise in nutrition overflows into her dermatology practice, with the health of the individual at the core of her practice. She later received her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch, where she frequently returns to lecture PA students throughout the year. Today, she is licensed by the Texas Medical Board and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant. Chelsea continues to thrive in her field and to expand her education by attending local, regional and national dermatology conferences and meetings to learn the most up-to-date technology and treatments. She believes that evidence based practice is essential for exceptional patient care as well as extending knowledge to patients in order to educate and empower them to take control of their skin care needs.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive treatment that uses gentle suction to the superficial layers of the skin. The old skin surface is removed, revealing a smoother complexion. This can be done in conjunction with a chemical peel to enhance the results. Best results can be seen with a minimum of 6 treatments every 4 to 6 weeks.
Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a chronic disease that is caused by having an overactive immune system and the result of the skin production process moving too quickly. This sped-up process results in inflamed, itchy skin that may be red or scaly in appearance. Psoriasis appears in patches in areas of the skin that are already more difficult to keep moisturized such as your elbows, knees, and scalp.
