The UPS Store

Friendly, efficient, reliable, courteous. We've had an account there for many years. This store is a role model for the perfect UPS store. They provide many services in addition to packing and shipping, and they perform all of them flawlessly.

Unlike the previous review, my wife and I also delt with Susan and she failed to inform my wife of hidden taxes and charges to Canada. I typically ship USPS because it is more than half the price of UPS or FedEx and it is a federal crime to tamper with USPS, so it is safer. We shipped UPS to Canada a package for $30. Now upon the recipient receiving the item, they were forced to pay $63.00 in taxes which we were not informed of that would be charged to either party. My wife went there 3 times to get a quote and even said "This is the final price, no additional charges?" And they said no. Now what I thought was $30 dollars to ship, was actually $93.00



I called Susan and spoke with her about the charges and that typically for that package I would pay USPS $12.00 and pay no additional charges or taxes. She said they typically are supposed to tell their customers of the taxes upon receiving the package. She said she is not liable of the charges and even though my wife should have been notified there is nothing she can do and will not reimburse her for the charges.



She than began to try and end the conversation and push me off of the phone as I try and further tell her how shocked I am of this. Terrible customer service, was not pleasant to deal with on the phone. And obviously does not care about her customers.



I would never go back to this store and I hope if you had to go to a UPS you would go to a different location.
