Dr. Kari Jenkins is an amazing veterinarian with many years of experience in both Florida and Georgia, and is very highly respected in her field. She added years to our precious Chase's life while under her care, and we are very grateful. Although we will miss her, we wish her the very best in her new location. The Cumberland County area and the Village Veterinary Clinic are very Blessed to have her!

Our pup had gotten into antifreeze...don't know how. Dr. Dan diagnosed and immediately began treating with an IV and catheter to flush him. This was on a Friday and we were very concerned about how the weekend would go. No problem...Dr. Dan took him home with him and treated him at home over the weekend. The clinic is quite a drive for us so we have been using a closer vet. $$$..we're back to Dr. Dan (who is very reasonably priced) in spite of the drive...he's worth it!

I love Doctor Dan and staff. I took my cat to a different vet in Crossville for about a year for the same problem and never really helped. Cost a Fortune every time I walked in the door. They did more harm than good. Took my cat to dr. Dan once and found the problem and treated her. Today she is just fine. His prices are unbelievably low very low. My animals will always go to doctor Dan.

Absolutely no one better than Dr. Dan and his staff. Been with him through five dogs and many years.

Very pleased with the efficiency and professionalism of Dr Dan and Shirley who works the front desk. Dr Dan was pleasant and handled our cat, Bella, very well and, as expected. Bella had a brownish-red discharge from her eye which after being tested, was diagnosed with conjunctivitis. Medication was provided and we were out the door. This practice operates with a "first come, first served" system but that was not a problem. We were second in line with an office filled with patients. We thought it would be more difficult finding a good Vet as we are new to the area but after this experience, we are confident Dr Dan is the one for both our cats!

Don't take your cat there! Mine had labored breathing. No X-Rays, listened and said bronchial pneumonia. Gave her antibiotics. 4 days later he questioned her quality of life. No improvement then took her to another vet. They xrayed her. Fluid in chest cavity. Had to be drained. X Rays showed cancer in lung lobe. She suffered a whole week because she wasnt thoroughly examined and was misdiagnosed. She's temporarily better till we have to put her down. Done.

Our cat had been hit by a car. He was in severe pain with a broken back. We are on a fixed income and was told to contact this place. They turned my wife and injured pet away at the door stating they don't do charity. The person who sent us there called my wife in the parking lot and asked what they said and told my wife to go back inside and she contacted this place. When they heard they were getting paid then they were all about treating our pet. Sadly our pet had to be put down because as the doctor said "He was in severe pain and going into shock".

I hope that what you read here offends you as much as it hurt us. This place turned their back on a family member until they got paid. I told my wife to tell the vet we would pay the first week of Sept and to hold a 1,500 rifle as collateral, which wasn't good enough.

I have 2 cats and a dog who have all gone to see Dr. Dan. I think he does a great job and the staff is always friendly.

I just recently had to bring in one of my cats. He's a big guy and he had a stomach ache. The vet tech tried to take his temp, but my cat is 12lbs of menace. Dr. Dan came in and had no trouble even with my cat fighting, even though he had to hold his tail a little bit (that's why cats have tails, right?). I did hold on to him, because he is very strong. My cat also had to get a shot.

He is feeling much better now.

A couple of months ago my other cat broke his leg, and since it was an emergency they took me right in. He got a splint on that day and I was able to take him home by the afternoon. He has recovered and is doing well.

We've been going to Dr. Woodward for a number of years now. We have two mini-Schnauzers, a Dachshund, and a cat.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Woodward. He represents the perfect combination of a quality veterinarian and a compassionate person.

Like any profession or business though, there's always someone who whines and just can't be pleased. Unfortunately, they have a right to rate a business as well. It's our job to read the review and determine if it's credible.

I just moved into the area and...

I just moved into the area and needed a vet for my cat and dog. On my first experiance with this clinic I needed to get my indoor cat's nails clipped. Since becoming a adult he fights even when i have my husband help me but for some reason he lies still when its done at the vet and the cost is usually about $6.

I called this clinic to make the appt and was told they do not take appts only walk ins. A few days later me and my husband stopped by the clinic with our cat and waited in line for the staff to get back from lunch. There was one picticular woman who was very preditory to be sure she was the first to be seen first because she "got there first."

After about an hour wait timethe 3 of us went into the little room with Dr. Woodard. I brought our cat in the typical cat carrier and watched in horror as this Vet tried to PULL my precious baby out of the carrier my his ARMS near the paws ( it was all he could reach through the little door and my cat of course wasnt going to come out willingly) I apruptly stopped the Vet and shown him that if he took off the top of the carrier he would have easy access.

As the Vet was clipping my cats claws ( I had to now help hold my cat who by this point was so upset by the vet "bedside manner". I litterally fought off feelings of wanting to smack him for grabbing more then once at my kittys beautiful tail)... he preceeded to tell me that I could get my husband to help me at home.....DUH...I wouldnt be at the vets office if we could do it together at home and would save the $6 a mo. AND my time.

While the Vet turned around to write in my cats brand new chart I mouthed in silence toward my husband " we are NOT coming back!".

In closing,...my cat just turned 4 yrs old and has been going to his previous Vet for 3/4 of his life every mo for his nails to be clipped. Various vet techs and vet partners have handled my cat with love and care.

Maybe Dr Woodward isnt a cat person?

LOVE THIS PLACE

The staff was so kind, helpful, concerned, and went out of their way to assist us. The prices are fair and they aren't out for the $ their there for the well being of the animals, which is rare now days.
