Great care for your dog

I needed a vet for my 12 year old small dog. I called and made an appointment. They are meticulous, friendly, professional, and take the time with you to get to know you and your pet. My dog received great care for his checkup. I just had his teeth cleaned today, from the time I dropped him off until I picked him up, I knew he was in first rate hands. They follow up with calls to check on your pet, emails, information, and appointment reminders. Plus they just like seeing you and your pet even if you don't need an appointment. I would highly recommend this veterinary facility.

Dr. Glaze enjoys hiking and camping in the Pacific Northwest with his longtime girlfriend and their mighty little mountain dog Mo during his time away from work. Mo is a 6-lb terrier cross they rescued and nursed through an almost fatal case of parvovirus when he was 3 months old. They have also accumulated seven cats between them, many of whom have unique needs - a feature common among veterinary professionals. Dr. Glaze also enjoys cooking and even cleaning the dishes!

This exciting group of therapies seeks to restore and repair damaged tissues within the body while using a patient’s own healing properties. Beginning with bone marrow and organ transplant, the study of developmental biology, cell biology and immunology has helped grow this innovative field of medicine to include stem cells and cell components. Partnering with board certified veterinary specialists, we are able to provide patients with platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy and autologous adipose-derived adult stem cells to meet specific needs. Many times dental diseases, and particularly those that occur below the gum line, go unnoticed until painful infections, abscesses, or tooth loss occurs. Through the use of digital dental radiology (x-rays), we can assess, diagnose, and begin treatment much more quickly, as we are not relying on more time-consuming, less detailed, traditional x-ray films.

Kayla has lived in Oregon all her life, and has enjoyed having animals for as long as she can remember. Before coming to West Hills she was a manager at Joyful Noise dog boarding, and learned a lot about dog body language and behavior. Kayla has enjoyed becoming Fear Free Certified, and works hard at making sure animals are comfortable for any treatments needed while at the hospital. Kayla is an adaptible team member and helps us with both answering phones as well as taking appointments and covering the front desk when needed. She has a few pets of her own, including a large dog named Koa, a small dog named Sadie, and a senior cat named Sweetie Kitty.
