Salon is disorganized and not high end as advertised. Had made apt for facial and cut. I arrived 5 minutes prior to my apt and after reminding them twice that I was they took me 30 late for my facial and proceeded to give me a 20 min facial, no steam or extractions and ver little actual facial massage. It was a joke of a facial. I was told that I didn't get the full facial because I didn't need it. Irrelevant as I paid for it, $53 for a 20 min facial. I had a cut apt with Melissa afterwards but she was too busy and they switched me to a less experienced stylist without any explanation. She proceeded to butcher my hair. The owner came over and tried to fix but razored a chunk out of my bangs. They did not charge me for the cut. The experience was a waste of time and money. I have an important meeting in a week and a half and am hoping it grows out enough that I can have the cut corrected by a professional stylist.

I never write reviews (even for bad service) but I just had to write one today. I've been looking to get a haircut for a while now and I haven't been able to find one that listened to what I was looking for..until today. Melissa was great, very professional, did an amazing job on my hair and was fun to talk with throughout the process. She was able to do exactly what I wanted, which I know is difficult, as I never seem totally happy when I leave other places. Definitely be sure to visit Planet Sol and ask for Melissa...she's awesome. :)

I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and overall quality of work done at Planet Sol. I usually go to a barber shop but my normal barber shop closed early so I went to Planet Sol because I was in desperate need of a haircut. I was warmly greeted by the receptionist, Adriana. She promptly escorted me to a chair. She then offered me a beverage. My stylist, Melissa welcomed me and asked me how I normally get my haircut. She then made some suggestions and proceeded to cut my hair. I realize that men's haircuts are not their specialty at Planet Sol but in my opinion, she did a phenomenal job (I'm a pretty phenomenal client, but that's besides the point). I was then given the most amazing shampooing of my life. I was so relaxed that I think I fell asleep for a brief period of time. After she was done my hair looked great. Her eye for detail and recommendations resulted in a great haircut. Expecting to have to pay top dollar I was surprised at how reasonable the price was. All in all I had a great experience at Planet Sol and will be recommending it to all my friends, men and women.

I am a regular at this salon and I love it. Great customer service and I can always get an appointment without worrying. I highly recommend this place. Great staff.

I had a great experience at Planet Sol recently! I had a mishap with box color trying to make my hair blonde. That was a complete disaster! I sported a ball cap until my appointment and I'm amazed with how they were able to fix it and my stylist sounded very knowledgable. I had to go back a little darker but she added hi lights since I really wanted to be blonde and I couldn't have asked for a better color! All in all I think the staff was really friendly and seemed down to earth. I'll be back!

If I could put zero stars I would! Had an appt. at 11am.. The receptionist called me at 1145,as I was walking out the door, to reschedule for 12. This should have been my first sign...

As a gift, I received a Be Our Guest from the a KRIS site for planet sol, it was for $150. There wasn't a hair cut included so I asked if I could add it. They said sure, and they would even take 25% off the hair cut cost for adding it in and it would be $10 and some change.. Cool, sounded great!

So I get in the chair (of the stylist who doesn't even introduce herself) and asked for a full color of a little bit darker brown than I had at the time and a trim off my layers.

I ended up with an redish/purplish color. Hated it. She said she would put a toner on it to take the red out.



In the midst of all this, another stylist is coloring a coworkers hair and being totally inappropriate and unprofessional. It was loud and obnoxious.

I sat in that chair for THREE hours and my stylist asked me three different times how I wanted my hair cut. It was like she was in a different world.. Not paying attention at all!

I go to pay and my total was $90, on top of the $150 certificate I had brought in. She told me the haircut went up because "the math was off" but she "gave me the toner for free." Looking at me like she didn't understand why I was upset.

I'm thinking to myself "yeah the toner is gonna be free! You gave me purple hair!"

It was one of those moments that I was just so mad I had no words and didn't want to make a scene..I just paid it! Whatever!

I got home and took a good look in the mirror at what she had just done.. I had dye all over my forehead, neck, and all the way down to mid shoulder blade! Apparently the frocks do no good with this lady.The front of my hair framing my face is near black and the hair on the back of my head is brown.

I would think twice if considering this place!!

And her name was Nancy, by the way. I only know because of the other stylist calling for her.





I use to go to Planet Sol on a regular basis when I was at the other location. I would get a two-tone highlight and a cut for $130 including tip. Today.. For one all over color and a trim was $240. It's outrageous!!

I decided to go cut my hair here based on the great online reviews and it didn't dissapoint! I'm very picky about hair stylists but because I was new in town I didn't have a clue where to go. I'm glad I picked Planet Sol! Natasha did an amazing job! I will definitely be going back to her for my next hair cut!

Poor service, cut hair horribly, never called to remind me of My appointment, answers the phone an ignored me like nothing, ill not be returning there ever!!

I had a great experience and would definitely go back to them. I even manage to get something for my girlfriend from their boutique.
