Camden Breakers

My daughter and I moved to Camden Breakers about 4 months ago & we could not be happier. I am so please with this community. The grounds are maintained very nicely, the apartment homes are pretty & updated, and most importantly the staff goes above and beyond for the residents. I've never lived in an apartment community where the staff was so kind and accommodating to the residents. I am very happy I chose Camden Breakers to be our new home.

I have lived here for about four years and have been very well taken care of by the Camden staff. The maintenance team is great and always takes care of any issues within about 24 hours. The office staff is wonderful and always ask how everything is going in my home. I love living here and hope to only live with Camden!

I have never felt the need to write a review for an apartment as I have had overall decent experiences. However, Camden Breakers changed that. I am beyond disappointed with how horrible this apartment complex is. I live here currently and for an apartment that is based on customer satisfaction - they should be ashamed. I have been to many apartments here in Texas and other states and they are by far the worst. To begin with they are very overpriced. You must buy cable (which is HORRIBLE cable service) every month - minimum $50. The people in the office are always 'busy' and rude. If you pay rent online they take it out of your account but it doesn't actually come out for another week. It messes up all of your finances. They told me that it was taken out right away at first, and then not only got overdraft fees but hundreds of dollars of late fees from Camden. They come up with the most ridiculous fees out of nowhere. Don't live here, go elsewhere. Don't make the mistake that I did.

They are great place to live until you move out. Then they charge you random fees for no apparent reason. I specifically asked, FOUR months in advance what the last day I could move out without paying on a day-by-day basis was. They told me then Nov. 4th. When I talked to them one month before my move-out date to make sure everything was finalized, that date somehow changed to Nov. 1st. They told me I misunderstood, I could only stay until the 4th on a renting day-by-day basis. I asked AGAIN what the final day to move was without paying anything extra. They told me November 1st.



When I turned my keys in on Nov. 1st, I had a $30 extra charge for the day of Nov. 1st. They told me I misunderstood again. I graduated high school and college top of my class, and I have a steady job as an English teacher. I am fairly certain I do not misunderstand that easily, twice.
