Wonderful environment for your babies to grow and learn.

I've been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I had my 2 oldest kids go there when they were babies. Now they're 12 & 11. I currently have my 2 year old child there who's been attending since before she turned 1 year old. I still get the same great service I got over 10 years ago. I can go into the daycare at anytime and check on my child and if an incident occurs, I can ask to view the cameras, and without hesitation, I can view it. Sometimes when my 2 older kids are on vacation from school, I will have them in the daycare while I work and they love it there and reminisce being in the other classrooms when they were smaller. Plus they get fed well there. They are all about the children there and I highly recommend this child care center.

he Staff is underpaid, the classes are to full, no real certified teachers and therefore teachers don't care for the kids. If kids get to difficult they write one write up after the other, send kids home and then suspend kids! They don't teach the kids anything, all the kids do is run around, scream and play. My son was 9 months there and his behavior got worse and worse the longer he was there. Now he is in a new preschool and he is like a new child! I do not recommend this place.
I posted another review on yelp and the owner argued with me back and forth. Claiming my child was so bad that no teacher wanted to work with him and some of them even quit!
In her opinion she can do no wrong. My son is now in Little Roos Preschool Academy and he is like a new child! He learned in 3 months more there than in 9 at Bay Area! Do some research on this place !

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS! I had my infant son enrolled at the Greenwood location. The first day his teachers were never notified he was enrolled. The director didn't even know he was in attendance! They advertise CCTV monitoring to help
parents feel assured and allow parents to review it at their request. My 8 month old came home a with a HUGE BRUISE on his nose. When I asked to see the video, they told me they first had to notify the "CEO" to review it and then decide if I would be allowed to view only a "section" that they had pre-approved. After several follow ups, I still was never allowed to see the video. I requested this so called CEO to contact me since she is NEVER at the center, which also never happened. They will charge you $5/day if you're late on your payment, yet several times when I've attempted to make a payment I was told to come back later or the next day due to the director being unable to find her record book, a person being left in charge for 2 days who did not know how to process payments, or to be told the director was out on a smoke break. I also was told while taking a tour before enrolling they offer 1 week per year will be charged at half the normal rate. It also states this in their parent handbook. When I attempted to utilize my discount for a family vacation I was told it only applies if I have been there minimum 1 year. I was directed to contact the director at their Embassy location and informed her it states no where in their handbook about the 1 year rule. She copped an attitude with me and said she would look into it and follow up with me. 2 days have passed with no response. I tried calling her 3 times to be told she hadn't come in yet or was in a meeting. I could go on and on! This place is a total joke with incompetent management. They will give you the run around and play caddy little games with you. Do not waste your time, money or energy with these clowns. They are ripping off parents!

Terrible, STEER clear of the one off greenwood. VERY dirty, Alot of "accidents" happen and they wont let you see the videotape. I had to take my kid out because its very unprofessional and the last straw was when I overheard them yelling/cursing. Nothing but problems from start to finish. Kids learn nothing as well.

Each time I have gone there the staff seems unhappy. I heard a lady yelling at a poor child I looked in the room she saw me and looked surprised. They don't have a teacher for the toddlers. I taught my toddler the alphabet I still have yet to see my child come home knowing something I did not teach my child. My child would always come home with scratches and bite marks and they do not know how to deal with those kind of situations properly at all. in fact they do not even know how it happened but I thought they always had a close eye on them. The cafeteria last is always screaming at the children and they don't give them enough time to eat. Speaking of food these people know nothing about nutrition. They give babies these unhealthy waffles for beakfast its sad. They also give them fruit in syrup as a fruit replacement. A bunch of crap. Okay and the manager she was really friendly in the beginning but later started showing her true colors. You can tell that there is maybe 2 people there that actually like children the rest of the staff just sees "job =$“ okay besides that okay its cheaper than the better daycares. Not quite as horrible as Bethune . Its questionable only because the person in charge of watching the cameras is usually not. So there daycare workers get away with yelling and possibly could abuse a child and no one would know esp with the little ones that cant talk. However yes you can walk in there at whatever time you please but they know you are going in and they can easily put on a face. Some of the workers there are just plain rude. The only possitive thing I have to say is that I would choose BCDC over Bethune any day. I forgot to mention that they don't even have toys and most of the toys are worn and nasty whatever they have of them. They also need to concentrate on teaching children good morals and lifeskills. Sharing, friendliness, courage , respect... so that corpus canhave better people in it. I suppose that is the difference in growing up in a smaller town in a different state we are taught to eat healthy and life skills and morals since we are young. Then people wonder why all those bad things happen on the news and why Corpus Christi has one of the highest rate in obesity... look all I am saying is if they changed all those things and hired peolple that loved children and were caring not just because they have their cpr and first aid certificate which by the way the people there are not even required to have one at least I don't believe so. Youmay be offended but frankly I am being hhonest and if thinking that being a caring person, having good work ethics and eating healthy is rude then sorry I can't help you change your way of thought but its truly a sad way of life for a child to learn that type of behaviour an lifestill..

Just recently started bringing my 18 month old baby to Bay Area. So far I have had no problems. The teachers are very caring towards my daughter, Every day they provide me with a slip that tells me everything that they have given her and times. It has all been on schedule so I feel a lot happier knowing that while I'm working my daughter is okay.

Poor Structure? Unsteady staff? And No Consistency? Hmm.. Okay.

Well first of all... I have been a regular at Bay Area since my son was a baby.. He is now in the 4 & 5 year old classroom.. I have NEVER had any problems with this daycare.. POOR STRUCTURE? Through out every classroom he has been in he has learned so much from his ABC'S to his numbers 1-50 etc. The teachers even challenge the kids which is good because it allows them to know more when they hit big school. UNSTEADY STAFF? My son has had the same teachers since he's been there! AN NO CURRICULUM? Before you walk into the classroom there is a curriculum board that tells me what my child does every month.. Every day we sit down and go over all the work my son brings to me.. that's our time :)

This is all an all the BEST DAYCARE! I would recommend all family and friends to attend this daycare because in the end you will NOT regret it :D

My child has been enrolled with Bay Area for 2 years now. My child is 3 years old and she loves it! She brings home her artwork and the things she learned for that day. The 3 year old teacher is very friendly , loving, and caring towards my child. I have never had any problems with this daycare. I recommend this daycare to everyone.

I recommend this daycare to all friends and family. Awesome staff , great curriculum , set schedule , and the one daycare I know that provides 4 meals in a day! Both my kids always love to tell me about there day!

I took my children to this daycare based on the reviews. BIG MISTAKE. Notice how these reviews were written back in 2010. I don't recommend this daycare at all. Poor structure. Unsteady staff. No consistency with curriculum. My child never brought home art work in the half a year that she was there. Their credentials need to be re-looked at.

I drive out of my way everyday to leave my children. They have been going since the day they where born and refuse to go to any other daycare because they love there teachers

When I drop off my daughter everyday she is ready to see her teacher and friends. She can not stop talking about how her day went and what she learned. She loves this place, she tells me that when she is at school she feels at home.

there would be no other place that i would take my baby. You walk in and you get a great vibe off all the staff. They are a family and make you feel like a part of the family. I would not trust anyone else with my baby.

this daycare is awesome i wouldn't trust any other people with my son. when i leave him for the day i know that he will be okay. at the end of the day i am fitting him to go home.
