Simply Sassy Kids Spa

We came back to this kids Spa for an end of school treat for my 2 daughters and Neice. We were extremely Impressed from the moment we got there until the time we left! The manager and owner were both there and explained that they have hired all new staff who have extreme attention to detail. They engaged the children in conversation and were extremely patient even with the youngest who only 4. The nails were done flawlessly and the "up dos" were gorgeous. They asked each child which color and design of the nail they wanted.... and as kids changed their minds they did not seem to mind one bit and were very accommodating. The girls were truly pampered and were smiling ear to ear the entire time. We will definitely recommend this spa to all of their friends!! The experience was exactly as the pictures show on their website. Don't be fooled by the "bad reviews". They have an entire new staff! We will be back for sure to Simply Sassy Kids Spa. I took my daughter for her birthday yesterday to the Cornelius location and this business does not deserve a star!! I wish I would have visited this location and read the reviews prior to wasting my time and money. I was told by the young girl who checked me in that they were not licensed and this was for entertainment only. She stated that this location had been in Cornelius for 3 years. I can assure you that this was not an entertaining experience at all. The three young girls working had no personality and were to busy entertaining two young boys standing outside the front door smoking rather than providing a entertaining spa appointment for my little girl. The place was dirty actually disgusting - the furniture was nasty and appeared to have never been cleaned or replaced. I guess that explains the B rating on their certification lying on a shelf near the outdated stained glass night light display. We were suppose to receive a Spa Tacular gift which we did not and the pictures on the website are very misleading showing a little girl getting a facial with cucumbers on her eyes, very cute up-dos and little girls wearing cute little spa robes. I wish I could post pictures of the mess of an up do my daughter was given; however by that time I was so ready to leave I did not bother to have it redone. Perhaps this was not available yesterday! I will not recommend nor ever return to this poor excuse for a kids spa!!

I had my daughters 4th birthday party here, and she fell in love! I cannot begin to explain the great customer service... the staff always had a smile on their faces, and they gave the birthday girl sooo much attention! loved it! my daughter is my everything, so i was more than pleased! I also want to complement the cleanliness of the building! While we were there some of the grils were cleaning the floors and windows which made me feel great about the sanitation! I would highly reccommend simply sassy of Cornelius for a terriffic birthday party! Can't wait to come back next year!

This business deserves a rating of a negative star. I took my daughter and 2 of her best friends here for a spa day for her birthday. It was a terrible experience. There was only 1 of the 5 girls there that was half way friendly. The place was a mess, the backroom was horrible, no toilet paper, nail polish was old and cracking. There was no interaction by the staff with my daughter and her friends. We signed up for the $75 spa package, it was worth about $7.50. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Frankly it was embarassing , I picked the place thinking it would be a great experience, It was not.

Simply Sassy is the place to go if you want a great birthday party! I went for a birthday party, and everything was up to par! I would definitely recommend this business for any child's birthday party! One of the best so far!

This place is amazing...AMAZING!! I took my 6 year old daughter and her best friend here for a girls day out (11/11/12)! I was pleased beyond belief!!! Ever since the spa has been under new management, i would recommend every parent take their child here! The staff is wonderful, and they treat every girl like royalty! Not only do they pay attention to the kids but they also try to interact with the parents...(which is what pleases me the most). MUST GO!!!

The WORST BIRTHDAY PARTY PLACE EVER! I had my daughters 9th birthday party this past weekend and WOW what a disappointment! The staff was not friendly and they didnt acknowledge the birthday girl until I asked them too. The staff wasnt dressed appropriately and their undergarments were revealed as they painted the girls toes. Gross!!!! Our party lasted 1 1/2hours longer than it should because the staff disappreared constantly and left the girls by themselves. Everytime they returned they smelled like SMOKE because they were out back smoking. The place was filthy and nasty. I dont think the furniture has ever been clean or the floors have ever been mopped. The party room was very small and food on the floors from previous parties. I had to serve the group their drinks because the staff was gone. I was so embrassed that i couldnt say anything infront of the group because i had just drove 7 girls 45 mins. one way to get there. ALL I CAN SAY IS I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE BOOK A PARTY.

I had a birthday party for my daughter a couple of weeks ago at the Cornelius location. She had been to one of her friends parties there and LOVED it! We cant begin to say how much fun she and her friends had! I thought the service was exceptional. My friend also booked her daughters party there as we were leaving that day. I think that this spa is so cute and they really do an excellent job making the little girls feel special. Beyond that, the nails and hair looked so sweet. VERY WORTH THE MONEY! We will be back!

We had the same experience, HORRIBLE service! The manager said "I don't know who you are or what package you have purchased." She then asked if we wanted the cupcakes and I said no because one of the little girls had allergies and we didn't want her to feel left out. The manager then said in front of my 16 year old "Make sure that lady pays for those cupcakes." She then walked next door to the bar for drinks and came back to the party. Upon her arrival she told my daughter (6 years old) that she was acting crazy and needed to use her manners! I'm totally disgusted by the employees there, it could be such a fun place if they had the right people working there.

I had an appointment and when we showed up the lady said she cancelled our appointment because all employees but her showed up and she did not take my phone number so she could not call. I show up for our second appointment and had to wait 40 minutes for them to finish a birthday party. I would never go back again or ever recommend this place.

You have to go!!! My daughter loved it! She turned 10 this month and she and her girlfriends wanted the "Spa" party! The place was adorable, the staff was friendly, and the girls looked like they were hitting the run-way when we left. Up-beat music played as they got pampered. The party room was a little small, but the girls didn't care. They had a great time. I would highly recommend!

Just had my daughters birthday party an can't tell you how disappointed I am with the most pathetic customer service I have ever witnessed. While the set up was cute with fun chairs, nail bar, pedicure spot etc, the place was dirty and the girls working looked the just came in from a rough night out. There was absolutely no engagement with any of the guests. I mean not a single question, joke or any interaction with anyone. What kind of kid's place does that? No one told me they provide cupcakes, plates, drinks etc, which would have been nice since I brought my own. I had to go back to the filthy storage room, to carry in my own cupcakes. Only one girl, asked if "everything" was ok. I could go on and on about the lack of quality in the staff. They simply did not want to be there, nor do they have desire to around kids. The place has great potential and is right up every littles alley in terms of going to the spa, but the service needs a major over haul.
