Fritz & Franz Bierhaus

My review here is biased since I love sausage! And sausage is a German specialty and the sausage sampler here is excellent, combined with the pretzel and beer...what could be better? The service has always been great and friendly. We always sit outside which is a spacious chunk of downtown Coral Gables, but the interior seating looks good too.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GERMAN RESTAURANT TO ANYBODY, THE REASON BEHIND IT IS BECAUSE FIRST OF ALL IS, I HAVE LIVED IN GERMANY FOR 8 YEARS AND THE FOOD IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING THE ORIGINAL THING, THE PRICE IS VERY HIGH FOR WHAT IT IS, THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE, AND THE SERVICE AS WELL, THEY TOOK FOREVER TO TAKE OUR ORDER AND EVERY TIME YOU ASK FOR SOMETHING IT WAS LIKE ASKING FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE, I REALLY AINT A PERSON TO BE DEMANDING IN ANY TYPE OF RESTAURANT BUT YOUR PATIENCE JUST ISN'T THE BEST AFTER EXPERIENCING THIS RESTAURANT, AND THEN THEY DEMANDED AND WHEN I SAY DEMANDED, THEY DEMANDED TO TIP VERY HIGH! I DONT GET IT YOU EARN YOUR TIP FOR THE TYPE OF SERVICE THAT YOU GIVE! PLEASE DO NOT GIVE SUPPORT TO THIS RESTAURANT AND PASS THIS ALONG!

Fritz & Franz Bierhaus is still the Best German Restaurant in South Florida. No one makes a better Schnitzel then the Bierhaus. And I do know Schnitzel. My Mother used to make the best. I also like the Sausages. Best quality I can find around town.

This restaurant is a true gem around miracle mile. Great food and great bier!

Fritz and Franz was rated #1, City's Best 2007, by AOL America Online City Guide for Best German, Austrian, Bavarian Restaurant in Miami and deservingly so. If you want to listen to good blues and jazz on the weekend this is the spot. The best beers, wine, and schapps too! There's plenty of good parking with an outside patio..a great place with a relaxed causual atmosphere to take the family. Check the website www.bierhaus.cc for events.
