Simply put, these are good people that do amazing work. They take your vision and make it even better. I had an idea for a cover-up and D took it to a whole other level. D an Mike have done several tattoos for me.. but recently D done one very dear to me that has my fathers signature in it. I'm always amazed with Sweet Babys work..it is fanominal!! This piece filled my eyes with tears of joy! LOVE IT!! Staff is very personable and professional. . HIGHLY RECOMMEND SWEET BABY OCTANE!

Mike Gombeda created a custom piece of art for my arm! He took his time with the drawing, planning, using the stencil, and free-handed portions. He always asked permission to free-hand something in place of an original idea to see if it would work better. He was never pushy and never made me feel like his ideas were better than mine. He was especially patient with me when picking out the colors, particularly when I was being indecisive. I really appreciated and welcomed his suggestions during the whole process. Also, as a woman a big plus for me was that Mike never gave me that creepy guy vibe.

I never had a fear of infection or cross contamination because Mike is crazy about cleanliness. He washed his hands before we started each session and after breaks, he probably changed his gloves 10 times each session, too. Everything was wrapped in plastic i.e. trays, machines, chairs, electrical wires, etc. Plus, I had the opportunity to watch him open all the needles and tubes from their original packaging during every set up.

After completely healing, there are no lumpy scar tissue spots and my skin is smooth to the touch. The colors in my tattoo are vibrant and beautiful, I get compliments all the time!

Going to Mike Gombeda at Sweet Baby Octane was a great experience and I've already scheduled my next piece!

I went there this past week and got a cover up on my ribs. I must say its the best tattoo I have yet & AMAZING ART WORK. My tattoo artist was D Willy & he did the best work ever. I just gave him an idea of what I want and he went to work. It looks like its coming out of my skin & it has colors I wouldn't have thought to put in it. Most artists will do what you say to do & have no input but he put his own two cents in and made it outstanding. Everyone at the shop will work with you to make your experience great and your tattoo absolutely amazing. The shop is in a great location and its pretty cool too. Its very clean and they make sure it always is also. The tattoos aren't cheap but would you rather get a cheap and awful looking tattoo or a awesome tattoo people want to get too because it looks so good? I have and always will give Sweet Baby Octane an awesome review and will send people their way :)

D.willy is the best only place to got in Columbus .sweet baby rocks .

Sweet Baby Octane is far superior to other shops in Columbus. The shop itself is amazing! It is clean and the location rocks. The guys are professional, personable, experienced, and they are a fantastic group of artists. I came to the shop with an idea in my head, and D. was able to merge my ideas with his ideas to create some beautiful custom pieces. I will not go to another shop! I trust my skin only to SBO. I recommend you do the same!

I've been a devoted customer of D.Willy for nearly 15 years. Sweet Baby Octane is an absolutely amazing shop. Fantastic artists, terrific service and BAD-A$$ TATS!!!! Don't go anywhere else! The artists are happy to work with you to draw up the perfect design and they want to make sure you're happy with the results!

I drove quite a distance from where I live to get to the shop. The atmosphere was far friendlier than any tattoo shop I've ever been to, and the work was excellent. Tucked away in a nice part of town with good prices and great work, you just can't go wrong with Sweet Baby Octane. I'd recommend it to anyone.

This is my 3rd tattoo. I've read alot about d and Rev, but Mike G. is totally awesome. The prep he did, didn't compare with the other 2 places i went. The shop is super clean. I have so many compliments. Everyone asks where I had it done at. I'm working on my 4th, after my daughter graduates . Thanks Mike G. Excellent work.

It was evident to me from the first time I met with Mike that he has a real passion for his art. I trust him completely with ALL of my ink adventures. D-Willy did a small memorial tattoo on my arm for my grandmother. I brought in a letter that she had written to me when I was about five with a heart that said Grandma plus Michelle with an arrow going through it. I had him tattoo this on me. I looks as if she drew it on my arm. It is one of my favorite tattoos. He did a great job. He is probably one of the nicest guys in the tattoo biz that you will ever meet. Thanks D-Willy :)



I no longer live in Ohio, but when any of my friends from back home ask me where to go to get a great tattoo, I always tell them to go to Sweet Baby Octane to see D-Willy and his staff.

D-Willy at Sweet Baby Octane is worth every needle stroke! I spent years in Columbus admiring his craft on my friends. When the day came to get my half-sleeve he was very professional and creative in adapting my 2D drawn idea into a tattoo on a 3D surface. ME! DWilly also did two touch-up sessions for free on my shoulder where MY skin had trouble accepting the ink, now it looks fantastic. I now live in Seattle, where ink seems to be a state requirement. I get compliments on my work all the time. Even during an ink discussion at Pikes Market Place with a random admirer, they knew of Sweet Baby Octane. We will be flying back to Ohio for any more work on my wife or myself because DWilly DELIVERS!

Once you've experienced getting work done at this shop. You will understand what I mean. Every artist at this shop makes sure you are completely comfortable. The environment is warm and cozy. Not only that, they are not your typical sleazy artists who talk crap about your stupid tribal that you got in someones basement, or about another shop. These are Columbus' finest.

I've had tattoos done at numerous shops in Ohio and my tattoo by D. Willy is by far the best tattoo and experience I've ever had! Everyone in the shop is really friendly and make you feel so comfortable. It's also super clean!! He mixes colors to create other colors to make the tattoos truly custom. I will definitely be returning and I tell all my friends about it!!

Sweet Baby Octane is not only the cities best when it comes to tattooing but they are great dudes as well! none of that pretentiousness you get with other shops. I highly recommend getting tattooed here!!

The shop is very clean, well set up, and the artists know their stuff! They can draw you anything, will take what you want and try to put it on paper, and will work with you to come up with EXACTLY what you want. The artists are very talented! Also, the tattoos are clean. The ink is all fresh; new, sterile equipment is used, and explanations of everything are offered (about the process of tattooing, etc). I always get compliments on the how bright and vibrant the colors in my tattoo are and how unique it is. I would go get a hundred more from SBO, but my profession doesn't allow visible tattoos :-(
